Loud and proud fan section

All,

This is a serious post.

I am buying either season or half season tickets next year.

I would love to coordinate with AS MANY OTHER FANS AS POSSIBLE TO ALL BUY TICKETS IN ONE SECTION OF THE ARENA.

I went to 15-20 games this year and this team is DESPERATELY LACKING FAN LEADERSHIP.

The cheerleaders are not getting it done. We need a dedicated group of fans to go from anywhere from 10 to 25 games this year to lead the whole arena in chants and CREATE AN EXCITING ATMOSPHERE. THIS WILL NOT HAPPEN ON ITS OWN.

Let's dedicate this thread to arranging A LOUD AND PROUD FAN SECTION FOR FUTURE GAMES. This has worked for other teams in the past as recently as this year in the NBA for another team I am a huge fan of and watch religiously.

I really think we can make it work, but it will take coordination.

I know this is really early, but if you're like me, you're thinking about ticket packages now.

If anything, I'd love to use this thread as a jumping off point for working towards the goal of assembling a dedicated group of fans to lead this fan base. Yes, winning breeds a good arena environment and more fans, but that's because winning creates an exciting atmosphere in the arena. A 100% engaged, loud, proud crowd creates the same atmosphere.

IS THERE ANY CHANCE OF THIS HAPPENING?!

GO CATS.

This is a great idea, and if I were closer to the arena and got tix, I'd be in! Good luck, great plan. It would totally make the games more fun.

Sounds like a good idea! (Except if it's in the most expensive section)

Well yes, as of now you can hear AG in brown seats above Cats tunnel, the Hit Somebody guy in 101(?), wherever the shirtless kids are usually in east corners, and wherever my obnoxious mouf finds itself...

Good idea, as soon as my infant can handle it, count the two 1/2 of my family in.

haven't been to a game since we re-aquired Luongo.

Is Luongo's Legion back? Remember they would put giant X's up on the wall for the amount of saves he'd make.

They would also beat on drums and stuff until they banned the noisemakers.

i wish there was a section similiar to the ones in the SEL - a section where the "die hard" fans are, where they sing and make noise

and then sometimes they call out the rest of the sections and make them stand and clap etc

the section is really nice, and you can put people there. idk how itd work with STHs though

This sounds like an awesome and incredible idea. As a college student, I don't have the cash to get season tickets or come all the way back home every time there's a home game. If I wasn't in college, I'd be on this in an instant. Good luck, and I encourage anyone else here to participate if you're willing.

I sat near that guy the last game I went to.

Didn't know where else to put this but this was taken from business section of HF.

For once, Panthers were not ranked in the bottom 5 for something...http://www.mediapost.com/publication...yalty-cup.html

Fan loyalty was higher for Panthers than teams like Tampa or NYI.

It may seem odd to be celebrating NOT being in the bottom five, I can't help but do so anyway! Especially since Tampa has had MUCH more success than us when you compare the last 10 years or so.

Sabres have the least fan loyalty? lol The city gets the highest ratings even when the Sabres are in last.

The criteria for this list is stupid. Team success should not be a positive factor towards fan loyalty. If anything, it should be inversed for the purposes of determining fan loyalty. It's really easy to be a fan of every team on the top of the list.

Blackhawks fans are the most loyal? Is that a joke?

That article is obviously ridiculously false. The Sabres still averaged 97.4% attendance this past season despite being the worst team in the league. The Blackhawks had games with the attendance under 10,000 before they consistently started making the playoffs. The thing I think that boggles my mind the most is it saying that Winnipeg fans aren't loyal. Has the writer watched any of their games since they became the Jets?

I like this idea a lot. I'm in section 324, row 2. Let me know if you guys want to get this thing going. I think it would be a lot of fun.

There is a section around center ice 400s that has a great fan base. Not sure if they are on HF.

LOL CH goalie true that.
