To VAN:
-EDM 3rd 2014 OR EDM 2nd 2015
-D David Musil
-LW Curtis Hamilton
-C Tyler Pitlick

To EDM:

-LW David Booth

Canucks get prospect depth and more cap space to fill out their roster... Oilers get injury prone winger who will fit on a third scoring line if he is not hurt... otherwise they can just eat his $4.5M cap hit

Sedin-Sedin-UFA
Burrows-Kesler-Hansen
Higgins-Schroeder/UFA-Kassian
Sestito/UFA-Richardson-Weise
Santorelli, Ferriero

Nucks would have capspace to go after Jagr or Brunner for wing spot with Sedins... then Antropov or someone for the third line if Schroeder is still hurt to start... maybe also upgrade fourth line and bring Penner in for $1.5M or so

Hall-RNH-Yakupov
Perron-Gagner-Eberle
Booth-Gordon-Hemsky
Joensuu-Lander-Jones
Smyth, Brown

Oilers fill out their roster and look better than years before.. three scoring lines and could maybe get into 10th place this year in the West

Done! Booth is worth very little right now. Never get that much for him. For his actual value makes more sense for the canucks to keep him but if a team offers that much you take it and run.

What exactly do we need Booth for and where the hell do we put him? Value is there but Edmonton desperately needs another top-4 d-man, 4th line centre, and at least one more bottom 6 winger. I'd consider Booth for a package like that afterwards if there was cap space to do it.

Why do you posting if you know absolutely know nothing about the Oilers situation. Or is this your schools out summer break shtick.

Let the Canucks sit on that bad contract. Bad trade for the Oil.

This.

They'd give away Booth for a seventh.

The Oilers could do better just picking through the free agency leftovers. That, without giving up any assets.

As a Canuck fan I would love this but if Booth is dealt, in an ideal world, it with a conditional pick (ie. 2nd for less than 10 Goals, 3rd for 10 to 20, 7th for 21+ Goals) for one of those spects (I think Hamilton as he fits what Gillis looks to be trying to build).

Booth on the Oilers would work well if he is lined up with either Hemsky or Gagner,. I would figure Booth-Gags-Perron as a line. As Booth and Hall play a similar game. (Without a doubt Hall is way better). But Booth with a solid playmaker probably nets 25+ Goals over a full season. This would be a smart deal by MacT if he has another deal lined up to move either Eberle or Hemsky for another need (ie. Backend help)

Booth a solid playmaker? Does he even know how to pass the puck?

Are you actually an Oilers fan? The Oilers have no need for another injury prone winger. I've seen you try to trade Yakupov a few days ago too.
