Listening to the pregame show, I heard that Westbrook has not pitched well here at PNC. I don't have the numbers, but that was a quick note the show relayed.

Let's get Westbrook out ASAP. Wear down their bullpen. This could help us for rest of series.

If we get into their pen by inning 4 or 5, that could pay major dividends in the double header tomorrow.

Westbrook is toast--it's only a matter of time before we see the bullpen, 5th inning probably, but I hope we tag him for some more runs first.

Presley was safe, definitely a lot closer than Cutch earlier, who he called safe.

First glance, I thought he was definitely safe.

Waiting for replay.

It wasn't even a tie...AP beat that cleanly. Pretty bad call there. Good to see Hurdle out to challenge.

This is why a 4-0 lead is so nice. Keep throwing way off the plate if they are going to chase.

Frank must be nasty when hitters can't spot that pitch in time.

Two of those swinging strikes, barely above the dirt.

Hell yeah! Frank slams the door. With the Cardinals power, great approach there. Either one of those guys could have made this a game again, but can't lay off the changeup.

It'd be really nice to get 8 innings out of Liriano tonight.

I don't want to jinx it and I probably will but if we can get Liriano to go 8+ innings AND we don't have to use Melancon, that will go a long way in the most important 5 games series I've ever watched.

Yeah, Liriano's on some MVP-type stuff right now. He's locked in, and both Craig and Molina have looked silly against him twice. That said, 4 runs is not a lot for the Cardinals offense.

Would be nice to tag two more on Westbrook.
