Jagr so we don't mourn the loss of Le Jeune Veber. Got to replace such a key number as 68.

I voted Neither but lol @ Morrow over Jagr. No matter how much a team needs physicality, you take the best european of all time over Morrow 10 times out of 10.

Maybe Montreal has a snake charmer on their staff who can play a mean pungi and all of the snakes will fall off Jagr and he'll score a hat trick for us in the playoffs.

I mean, it makes logic right?

Thats why MTL will continue to be soft. Why the heck wouldnt you want a physical presence (a real one not like Parros idk what you guys expect from him) that you need badly but you want a 3rd liner who doesn't have much to offer anymore.

This! 1000 times this.

Morrow played with a broken patella! I've broken my knees, the patella specifically....that f n hurts....and he played. Dude has massive brass ones. He may only score you 15 goals, but his forecheck, grit and heart beats jagr hands down....not to medntion he'd be cheaper and is what we need.

Jagr, but for just one year. However, I doubt he would sign with the Habs. If he had any intention he would have done it by now.

It's about more than heart. We have some skilled guys in the top 9. Would be good to have some guys who can compliment them. I feel it gives more options to the coach.

Granted, Jagr is a pretty big guy with a strong lower body who is hard to knock off the puck too. There's benefits to both but I prefer Morrow for his ability to even play an energy role if need be.

Yah, we should sign Gretzky too. Best Canadian of all time!!!

Jagr's legacy is great and I agree with you on his status as one of the best euro(or best in general) but that doesn't change who he is now. He's 41. I feel no particular desperation to get him.

It's actually tough to decide because I think they both could help the team. But at the same production rate, I'd go for Morrow. And I love Jagr, he's one of my all time fav.

Plus if he's not scoring goals, he's not doing anything. At least Morrow can hit and crash the net.
Have to disagree! Still a great dangler, and a beast along the boards.

Morrow but as someone mentioned if we could get both, I would do it (moving Gionta if possible).

So why is he available for nothing? His best years are behind him. The Habs have too many thirtyish players. I'd save the cap space for younger players, including those already on the roster. Besides, I'd prefer signing Jagr for one year as a stopgap, although I doubt he'd come to Montréal.

As opposed to Jagr who we have to trade for?

Same scenario.

Even Iginla and others didn't stay with their team. Rentals.

I'd like someone who isn't 40+, or has a broken knee cap.

Montreal soft ? Screw you were soft. We have smaller players down the middle but the Habs are far from soft. And besides trolling what other reason could you have to emit a comment like that here ?

Both

They both bring an element that we need in our line-up. Although its very unlikely that we will get both for cap reasons, and the fact that we don't have room for both. I's like to see us sign both, and trade Gionta ans Desharnais to the highest bidder (hopefully 2014 or 2015 picks and/or prospects)

Pacioretty - Plekanec - Jagr
Galchenyuk - Briere - Gallagher
Morrow - Eller - Bourque
