Duh, Kessel. I don't know why select Leaf fans feel the need to consistently make polls that they know the answer to.

Nash is easily the most well-rounded in the group. The knock against Nash is the whole "when he's on" thing. But here we have 3 streaky players, so that doesn't hold as much water as it does up against, say, Marian Hossa.

I find them all overrated but I would take Kessel quite easily.

Neal couldn't dream of hitting 30 goals without Malkin.

he has the most potential to be a major, impact player far beyond kessel and Neal.

At this point, I'd take Kessel over Nash. Nash can and should be one of the premier players in the game.

Neal got 27 when he was 22, and 21 in 59 games at 23... Safe to say he would get 30 goals without Malkin.

Its between Nash and Kessel for me, either or really, might lean toward Kessel, but either way Neal isn't on there level IMO.

Phil Kessel. Neal doesn't really deserve to be on this poll.

Nash destroyed Kessel in a poll someone made during the season. Kessel deserves to win this but here on HF that doesnt mean he will.

Phil Kessel will single handedly make one of your lines the best in the NHL. No matter who or what he's playing with.

Can the other two do that?

Based on talent or statistics?

I'm all for considering linemates/etc, but James Neal is a heck of a player and while probably being the third best.. Clearly in the discussion.

Ryan Smith and Anton Lander? I highly doubt that.

I'll take Kessel, but Nash is just so perfect in terms of skill and size that its a hard choice, and I really like Neal too they are all really good players

Kessel
Nash
Neal

I like Nash's style of play slightly more. Sure, Kessel is the best offensively but Nash brings another aspect in his game. Plus he's Canadian.

Nash.

Also, No-Credit-Neal gets no credit. Yes, he found his perfect centreman. So what? He's a very realistic 40 goal threat every year with Malkin.

Kessel. He can score just as much as Nash, pass way better and his backchecking is just as good if not better.

Talent. Neal has shown that he's not nearly the 40-goal scorer he's shown to be when Malkin is out of the lineup.

Kessel. Neal isn't even on the same level as these two.
