I see him as a better two way player, but not quite as good at sniping or dangling.

Team will probably call him something obscure like 'Big Rig' or 'Puppy'

Yeah teams always go for the traditional ones. I hated when the Stars where pushing for "Big Rig" and succeeded, just so overused. This is also the reason I like Shoosh better than the more boring ones like "Nich" or "Nichu".

I believe Chiasson remains Dallas' top prospect, as he was last summer.

Thanks for taking this on LT.

Poll will be up later tonight. On the road all day today, sorry for the delay.

The first 10 will probably get a couple days a piece unless there's an obvious consensus, and the later picks will get a day or so unless there's some intense debate going on. These aren't set in stone though, so there won't be any kind of uniform schedule for this.

All this nickname talk I have to ask, are you guys wanting nicknames so you don't have to type out his whole last name or so when you actually talk Stars hockey with your buddies in real life? I don't use too many nicknames if I'm talking to an actual human, if we it's usually with a hint of irony.

I don't care how his nickname sounds I care how it looks and "shoosh" is just ****ing lame. It's not how his name starts, i.e. Zubie, Lehts*, Mo, Hatch, etc., it just sort of picks up in the middle.

*Am I the only one bothered by people referring to Kari as Lehts? Lehts is #26, end of story. If we all of a sudden acquired Alexei Zubovmagov I will lose my **** if someone calls him Zubie.

How are we handling the voting? Inevitably there will be WHL, OHL fanboys who come around and pimp their favorite players. This is just going to be Stars fans, right?

I'll go through at the end of each poll and take out any votes from non-Stars' fans. The only exception will be for a legitimate scout, and even then he'll have to be regularly voting for it to count.

Also, I'll set the closing date of each poll 3 days out, but I don't expect more than a couple to need that length of time.
