Detroit Red Wings #9 Prospect

1.) Calle Järnkrok - 21, C/RW: 6'0" 176 lbs. Gävle, SWE 52.50%
2.) Petr Mrázek - 21, G: 6'1" 187 lbs. Ostrava, CZE 63.00%
3.) Tomas Jurco - 20, LW/RW: 6'2" 195 lbs. Kosice, SVK 74.16%
4.) Ryan Sproul - 20, RD: 6'4" 200 lbs. Mississauga, ON, CAN 46.67%
5.) Xavier Ouellet - 19, D: 6'1" 190 lbs. Bayonne, FRA 78.02%
6.) Anthony Mantha - 18, RW/LW: 6'4" 190 lbs. Longueuil, QC, CAN 35.25%
7.) Riley Sheahan - 21, C: 6'2" 212 lbs. St. Catharines, ON, CAN 36.04%
8.) Martin Frk - 19, RW: 6'0" 203 lbs. Bochov, CZE 47.73%

Well I think it has slowed enough to call round eight. Frk goes up on the board, and Janmark won the add decisively.

Vote and leave your recommended add please.

Thought it would be, also thought Paterson would be a fairly easy add, we will see if it continues to play out that way, but looking like one that we move on from in around 24 hours.

Next one is super tough, think I am leaning towards our leading regular season goal scorer in the AHL last season and the guy that led the entire league in shorthanded points. Problem is I have always been super high on Jensen and Tvrdon, plus I think Marchenko screams NHL talent. Should be interesting, tough choices coming up there.

Went with ferraro. Think he is closer to being a finished product. Probably wont have the potential others will but if he regains the scoring touch and he showed flashes of it last year I see him as a tweener 2nd line 3rd line player that is responsible with 2 way play.

No idea who to add so I'll put in glendering.

Going with Marchenko, his skill-set is more intriguing than Bäckman's

btw, what's with all the "add xx" can't you write all the prospects in the poll?

Don't really see that, although I know that does get trotted out a lot. He doesn't really have that offensive upside and he doesn't have nearly as many brainfarts in his own end as Edler is prone to.

See him being stronger defensively but not nearly the offensive player Edler is. Edler has a some terrific offensive gifts, even with Backman's pickup in offensive play I struggle to see that. You might consider that poor man's, but I just hope he wants to be a stud defensive D-man with an awesome first pass. Edler should constantly touch to high 40's to 50 point range on his current contract, that is a huge offensive player in this league in terms of backend talents.

I may have missed it but how are we ranking them? Top potential or chance to get to the show? Or a mixed both?

However you want to look at it, I like to use kind of a combination of both.

Backman? Really? I don't get it. I like Jensen and Pulks more. Being a good Dman in the SEL doesn't say much to me. Rundblad anyone?

Lots of busts in WCHA and FEL too. Well, from every league.

Rundblad has plenty of time and talent to pull it together. He turns 23 this year, Smith wasn't regular at that point either.

With Bäckman, one should look at the tools. Skating, hockey sense, d-zone coverage, stick work, etc, all are pretty good. Should've gone higher imo.
