There were apparently three teams heavily interested in him. I believe rumors had it that it was Carolina, Montreal and Buffalo. But I also believe someone ruled out Buffalo.
I think this was all two weeks ago, so everything could have changed.
He talks about all black... I guess in reference to his " future being decided soon" comments that its a team that wears a lot of black.
Montreal, does not.
Buffalo I hear might go back to its Hasek black jersey days and this can all be a sign. But I heard Jagr said no to Buffalo, and at best its only a third alternate jersey I am sure
Carolina has a third jersey too that is black.
In this case, I will heavily consider it being Carolina.
But I cant help but to assume LA Kings. Its team is surrounded in black and white. I think its a city Jagr would love. Maybe thats why he has the crazy glasses. I think his big body and possession like style is suitable in LA. They got rid of some big guys and I guess I would not be shocked for them to want to go get a power forward such as Jags.
Boston is out. Both the GM and owner have stated this already.
The Sens? Maybe... I think I heard the rumor.
And lastly, but doubtful, the Ducks
If it does have to do with black, one would imagine it deals with Carolina or L.A.
San Jose is already over the cap. Tampa is in a rebuild. Pittsburgh is at the cap and that bridge appears to be burned.
See no reason why the Dallas Stars would bring him back, and Boston said that they are not retaining him. The Ducks have room but it is reserved for Teemu.
Or he could mean the Oilers, as in Oil, which is black. Would fit they way he thinks.
Also there was this update from Puck Daddy:
"UPDATE -- Reader John Parsons Czechs, er, checks in: "My business partner (From the Czech) just emailed me the cliff notes version and it said the following: 'He said that he does not think he will play next year in the NHL, and tomorrow he will post an update and explain his decision.'"
