Guys if you type in jagr in Google search it says that 99% of the deal is done for him going to new jersey. There are a few articles that popped up in the last few hours. He was in the New Jersey Arena on Friday touring the facility. Also this move makes sense since the Devils have the cap space and need to fill in a hole with regular season points. But who knows Jagr might pull of a Jagr and go somewhere else at the last second lol. Many did not expect him to be a Dallas Star.

i believe that if Jagr played with philly they would have made the playoffs.

He brought a lot to that team.

Jagr wouldn't have solved their defense and goaltending issues.

Their goaltending and defense wasn't much better the season prior when Jagr was there and yet they still made the playoffs.

Especially in a lockout shortened season, Jagr could have helped quite a bit. I think Giroux might have won the Art Ross with Jagr there and Jagr could have had close to PPG in the 48 game season (he did get 35 Pts in 45 games splitting his time with Dallas and Boston where he didn't have much chemistry with his linemates). He felt very comfortable with Giroux.

When he does sign with the devils he will fit right in with Chzek teamates Ellias and Zidliky and will be a good warm up for Sochi.

Jagr and Broduer are two of top playoff performers in the last 20 years and it seems fitting for them to be closing out their career's together.

Maybe. By default, I suppose since all the other better players and leaders have bolted. I think Jagr would just become the King of the Rock. No one there has more experience or mojo than Jagr except for Brodeur, and Marty respects Jagr

Voracek did a great job of replacing Jagr on the top line.

The Flyers had a lot of injuries on defense, and played horribly defensively, and had the 43rd best starting goalie in the league by SV%. Jagr wouldn't have fixed that.

Bryz was big hole in universe even when Jagr was there and defence without pronger was just sad.
But Jagr made Hartnell an all star player and G was 2nd in points only behind Crosby? if i remember corectly, not sure if Voracek managed something like that.. and yes i like Voracek

It was actually Malkin 1st, Stamkos 2nd and Giroux 3rd.

I knew it was never gonna happen - but it would have been great to see Jagr back in Philly again... Despite Voracek being a great player last year, Giroux seems to play better with Jagr.
