I have a feeling that Howard Berger tweeting "he'd take a deal for Yakupov" for Gardiner, it's going to not be as quickly brushed aside as everything negative he said always has been around Leafland.

I love the mentality that a guy who isn't a good fit on our team would be quite valuable on your team and as such we won't trade him for less than a sack full of gold. But of course our coach thinks he sucks. LoL!

No kidding. I mean, I knew before that the term "only for overpayment" gets used around here very lightly, but I can't recall it being used on players that are rumored to be on available and/or in the coach's doghouse... And while we're at it, he's obviously at least equal to Fowler, Fraser > Smid, and what not. Also, we felt our coach was deserving of a Jack Adams nomination last year, but now that he has the audacity to not agree with our collective hypefest based on one of the greatest seven game stretch in recent history of mankind, his opinion doesn't really matter.

I had trouble for about 30 seconds, and then GCL figured it out.

Flipping to the channel on CI, it just keeps saying "channel will be available shortly" then never loads.

I use Xbox to watch games. That has happened to me before, and I re downloaded it which fixed the problem. I'm probably not helping you much but, just wanted to share that.

I hope some of you are watching this Sharks-Rangers game...the Rangers defense might be the worst I've seen at a pro level EVER. holy crap. The whole second period has been in the Rangers zone.

I know the Rangers played the Kings last night...but the Sharks are absolutely dominating. The Sharks are a different animal at home.

Worn out from playing in a much tougher division than ours.

This is about the worst possible scenario for the Ducks. The Rangers are going to be seriously motivated Thursday.

Someone is going to get hurt over Hertl's last goal. Why showboat while running up the score? All it does is piss off the other team. not too cool.

Edit: Guess not
Torts would've unleashed Hell for that type of move...especially with the score at the time.

Hertl is great, he was it in a pro league last year too. Unfortunately the Sharks got him. Additionally they really play well and have a frightening roster, at least to me. I know now it's easy but how can a player with that skillset, with that size who scores a lot in a good professional league in Europe fall to 17th? The Sharks also drafted well in the last years. It's tough to say but all teams of California are damn good and unfortunately the Ducks have the most questionmarks.

This is the sort of play - not the amount of goals for sure - I'd like to see from Peter Holland!

I'd argue that the Ducks have the best prospects of the group, in all areas of the ice, and the most top end forward talent in Getzlaf and Perry. We may have the most question marks this season but, in the near future, that wont be the case.

I agree on the prospectpool, top end talent maybe. Hence, our prospects have to proove themself. I don't complain about our drafting it's freaking great. I just honored the Sharks for their great work. There are lots of forwards in their lineup who can score 25+ goals. It's still early in the season and a lot can happen!

I would expect more argument on the prospect pools. It is hard to argue against Getzlaf, the best player in California, and Perry, arguably the 2nd best player in California.

I agree with what the Sharks have done. I have watched every game they have played this season and they are beastly. They look poised to win the West this season and make a serious cup run. Kings obviously will be up for discussion due to Quick alone.

Everyone knows the regular season isn't San Jose's issue.

Their biggest challenge will be to get over the hump in the playoffs.
