Rank the Rangers #3

Ryan McDonagh is the winner of round 2 with 68.87% of the votes cast.

Criteria

The general idea for the poll was to rank the players based on who everyone thinks is most valuable. Take into account overall play and not necessarily point totals, although they do help. Ignore the contract if that's at all possible. It's more like looking at the players in a vacuum if you ignore contracts.

#0 -- Henrik Lundqvist
#1 -- Rick Nash - 50%
#2 -- Ryan McDonagh - 68.87%
#3 -- ???

Girardi, again. He's the leader of this team's strength.

Also, at all the Stepan votes. Most valuable to the team goes to Callahan way, way before it goes to Stepan. But I guess that's just me.

Stepan has shown flashes of brilliance offensively, more so than Cally I would wager. I think with a little more offensive game with the new coach, Stepan should shine even brighter. Honestly, if Stepan were to hit 60-70 pts. this upcoming season, not a lot of people would be too surprised. If Richards were to hit that, people would be surprised.

If the PP improves, I see Stepan benefiting from that tremendously.

Although, I do have Cally right next to Stepan.

Ok, think it's pretty much no contest at this point. Stepan wins round 3. Round 4 coming up.

But it definitely helps, especially when teams play a similar or faster game than us.
