A road trip to start the year could be a good thing.

Less distractions can bring the group together early on.

Back to backs are probably higher all around due to the compressed Olympic schedule.

First game after the Olympics is VS the Red Wings. If Canada wins gold and Sweden finish second or without a medal, this city will never let Alfie live it down

Or, Spezza makes the team, wins gold and USA wins 2nd... Then Spezza can call Ryan Silver

Umm, according to the Sens press release, it says we have 13 back-to-back game, but upon my count I had 14. Where are you guys getting 16 from?

That's pretty lame, but I guess this is Bettman punishing us for Melnyk's comments during the lockout...RE comparing it to the baseball one in the day.

Looking closer guys...we have one six-game road trip (October 4-15), three 3-game road trips (Nov 23-27, Feb 1-4, Mar 22-25) and three 4-game road trips (Jan 4-14, Jan 21-28, March 2-8) and we END on the road vs. Penguinos...

Wow almost a 1/4 of our games begin before 7 seems kind of odd allthough maybe i just hadn't noticed it before but it stood out, also the back to back + 6 game roadie to start the year kinda sucks.

That 6 game road trip is going to be really tough for the sens. I can see the kings, leafs, sharks, ducks and coyotes all giving us trouble. Hopefully we are able to win at least 3 of the games on this road trip.

In case you did not know, every team will be visiting Ottawa once a year under this new format.

I like afternoon games myself, but I don't think our record is particularly good in them, if anyone cares to look it up.

Ottawa: 16 afternoon games
Toronto: 3 afternoon games

just saying lol

Was never really sure how Toronto also get the western teams to schedule earlier games when they are out there, i get there are a ton of fans but it seems like a competitive advantage to me
