This is tough. Kichton is perhaps the most skilled, but we don't have anything like Cody Sol, except for Cody Sol in the system. I know he is not THERE yet, but he moves well for a very big man, plays like someone woke him up by lighting a baggie on his doorstep and ringing the bell, and is responsible in his own end. I'm really pulling for him.

I wonder if in 5 years, Copp will be the player that many had hoped Lukas Sutter would become (and may still become).

Well The Title of the Thread says "Top 20 Prospect List" so Im assuming 20..... however unlike last year we could probably go into overtime and pick to 25.....
I vote to extend to 25 as I think the converstions about the remaining prospects could be interesting............also its the middle of July.....this might Kill some time as we wait for Chevy to sign the Big 3 RFAS.

I think everyone is falling over their feet drooling on Kichton lofty WHL stats he put up last 3 years.......Coop, The Poolman and Kostelek were drafted well b4 him just a month ago....... which cleary states that the Jets value these other 3 prospects more...... I could see a change in value after a season of play or even a couple months of play but not 3 weeks of off season inactivity........

Having said that I am very glad the Jets took a flyer on the overager Kichton and his lofty Whl stats....... this makes up for not signing Yuen.....

@EastRiver, that's actually a good question. It is top 20 (as the title indicates ), but I normally do a tally of the remaining prospects to receive votes, just to give a rough estimation of where they stand.

No exactly. Due to age differences there is a natural drop in *draft value* even though there might not be a drop in natural value.
