Name few that you think would like to play for "rebuilding" Boston.
I think that Boston will have tough time getting some expirienced vets. Instead they should focus on building around some great young talent ( Joe, Raycroft , Bergeron)

Those aren't all of the UFA, just some of the bigger name players.

Didnt Turek said that he is done in NHL ?
It wasn't him but the coach he was playing for. It was not certain.

Well of course he's gonna say that, he wants another contract while there's still uncertainty. Whether or not he can play is another story. Few GMs have the $ or the room to take on that risk. But maybe you're right, he doesn't retire. Well he isn't going to Toronto. There would be too much hype and pressure for him to return to form. HAHA you'll get Lindross and Carter... and that's what you deserve. I maybe see him going to Columbus, or Nashville. Under the radar, and lots of great young talent for himself to re-develop with.

Comments on the "X to St. Louis" posts...

1. The Blues won't take CuJo - not at 38 or however old he'll be in '05-06. They'll stick with Lalime..which is why they also won't be interested in Thibault, who reminds me of someone who everyone just knows will carry a team to the Cup if he can just get on a good enough team...and when he gets the chance, falls flat on his face.
2. The only way Palffy goes to the Blues is if he can convince them he'll be a stronger player in the playoffs than Pavol Demitra. It won't happen.
3. Kariya to St. Louis?
4. I doubt Demitra comes back to St. Louis - he's been virtually nonexistant in the playoffs in the last 3 years.
5. Zhitnik to St. Louis is actually a possibility...but that means either Khanvanov or Weinrich doesn't come back, OR the Blues keep one of their young defensemen in the AHL for yet another season.
6. Rafalski to St. Louis is possible only if....
7. Pronger leaves St. Louis - which isn't happening. Blues posters have been over this time and time again. Forget about "oh, he said he wanted out" - he wants the team to have a long-term plan to compete for the Cup, not start into a plan and change it every six months like they've been doing for the last 4 years. Depending on the new owners, he may finally get that real committment. Otherwise, it means leaving the rest of his family in St. Louis while he goes off to play somewhere else...and given the choice, he won't do that.

I also saw Glen Murray to St. Louis, which might well happen.

Not sure about the goalies.
I'd love to see Nashville take a flyer on Jason Allison ... we NEED a centerman like the Armed Forces needs warm bodies

Foote would be a god-send ... we could have Shea Weber learn under this stud stay at home defenseman

I'm not to sure on Anson Carter ... we've got a **** ton of wingers in the NHL, albeit it would be a good insurance policy on Vladimir Orszagh

QUOTE][QUOTE=x-bob]I would say...

Defense:
Quote:
Scott Neidermayer - Vancouver - It's just a feeling. Ohlund, Jovocop and Neidermayer
Chris Pronger - Toronto
Sergei Gonchar - Boston -They have wholes to fill especially on D
Brian Leetch - Rangers (paycut) - He's gonna go back to his favorite town but he knows that he's gonna have to take a paycut.
Adrian Aucoin - Montreal - Exactly the type of player Montreal Needs and after the CBA, they should have the money too.
Adam Foote - New Jersey - After Loosing Neidermayer and Rafalski and probobly Stevens, They are gonna need a good D to teach the kids.
Roman Hamrlik - Tampa Bay
Brian Rafalski - Islanders - They are most probably gonna loose Harmlik and Aucoin so I can see them getting a lower priced D
Mike Rathje - Buffalo or Islanders - 2 teams that need D. If Rafalski doesn't sign with the Isles, then I can see them getting Rathje
Alexei Zhitnik - Dallas
If we lose those three, figure Lou goes after Pronger big time and we will have the cap space too. And maybe add Foote in the mix.

Why we get Carter who blows and Allison who will just be reinjured i mean we get two players who are probably right now on the top 10 hated list for our team lol.... What i have found interesting is how many Rathje to LA there have been thats near the most out of anyone going anymore // I still just want to see Lindros here yet i think its going to be Kariya yet i hate Kariya so do most of us
