It would be fun if they used The Kingdom of Finland version some time. It's pretty cool if put on big scale in the middle of the jersey, but the classic coat of arms is cool too, its better than WHC version. Obviously its not likely that the crown version will ever be in any Jersey, but some unofficial fan version could be catchy if you aren't pedantic logo nazzi.

and the official Nike pics showing the uniform. Sadly, it's the best of the bunch so far:

Those are actually really nice. Simple, clean, and sharp. The white looks great as well. They'll look good on ice.

Not sure why face laces/shoulder designs are in style this year, though... I wanted either a Kane USA jersey or Bergeron Team Canada, but both of them are so fugly.

I doubt any of you care but, honestly not bad. One complaint is that the torso is too awkwardly long

I actually like the Latvian jerseys, especially the away one. They even get symmetric bands on the arms, unlike Canada

You're right, actually doesn't look too bad.

The fake stars are so ****ing stupid, though. A lot of these jerseys would be really nice if they didn't have stupid shoulder designs, fake laces, half stripes, one-arm stripes... Such stupid stuff just ruins them. That's why I think Latvia's look pretty nice, simple, no stupid stuff aside from the shoulder design every team has.

Has Sweden released its blue sweater yet?

Agreed. US Soccer fan groups like the Outlaws use "Land of the Free" on their scarves as well. I've always thought it was ridiculous, but then again a lot of Americans actually believe that we are "free" and the rest of the world isn't even though it originally describes our relationship to the British Empire and has no modern relevance.

I could be wrong, but I don't think that Sweden has released its blue sweater yet.

I find that strange.

Do you think that Nike's trying to convince the SIHA to go with something like this?...(God, I hope not)...

(not my design)

Saw them (replica) in person today and they are clean IMO. The fake laces are a little tacky but overall still a decent looking sweater.

Hi Folks...I tried something a little different for a Team Suomi sweater.
When I darkened the overlapping area of the Finnish nordic cross, the double blue scheme looked kind of plaid-ish, so I thought...why not?
I did up a very simple template that suggests a big plaid (without being too plaid-ish).
I also tried the "Suomi" word in a script font...

The nice thing about a plaid theme is its application to related merchandise...

Have a great New Years all.

Why do we need new jerseys every 4 years?
I don't like the Hockey Canada logo. The IOC is right to not allow hockey federation logos, just the countries' symbol or coat of arm should be permitted.

Yes, the 2010 Olympic jersey was very nice indeed.

Yes, the 2010 Olympic jersey was very nice indeed.
Canada was slowly taking ownership of the classic 2-stripe concept before the Nike hijacking.
It was a clean look that had gold-medal success attached to it.
They could keep that template and just do a different maple leaf logo from year to year.
Try out the "ouside-of-the-box" stuff on the thirds.

The design is great, but the text font is a bit iffy

Yea, I hear you, Pine.

A script font can look pretty decent on a hockey sweater, but maybe not on a national uniform.
A block font would definitely look a little more stately.

Late to the party but the US jerseys are god-awful, I love the crest idea but what's up with the tacky fake sweater ties and the cringe-inducing stars? The arm design is awful too.

Latvia, now that's a jersey, simple, clean, double arm bars that are bad ass--terrible socks but you really can't expect much with Nike designs.

Erase the "SUOMI" text and simplify the stripes and these would be perfect.

USA's jerseys are terrible. Trying to be "new and cool" but sorry, I'd rather they wear the 1960 gold medal jerseys than these.

How does it fit? What size jersey do you wear and what size did you buy and how to does it compare to Reebok replica.

It fits pretty nicely honestly, torso is a little long tho. It's a nice, comfy stretchy material and definitely doesn't feel as heavy as a reebok replica

I wear reebok medium replicas and 48 authentics
