He has 7 lbs more since January (that's 7 months).
We already saw he was stronger last season growing from 201 lbs to 213 lbs from (maybe) May 2012 till January 2013.

I also like what he says about feeling more in shape and that does not mean he will produce more.

The Galchenyuk - Eller duo would be very well with either Briere or Gallagher.
Those three young players together could score at least 120 points if not 150 points.

Could we have a top-7 over 50 points: Plek, DD, Galchenyuk, Gallagher, Bourque, Eller, Pac and Briere and Gionta getting 40 points?
How many players scored 29 points per 48 games (pace of 50 points) last season?
Gionta was the 9th scorer (ahead of Ryder) and had a pace of 44 points.

on the flip side my most hated player is Danielle Briere who like his name plays like a little girl and I won't forget what he said when he chose Philly over Montreal. He said he doesn't want his kids growing up in Quebec.
His name is actually Daniel, not Danielle. You're silly.

You can't gain 20 lbs of muscle in a summer, particularly not when you're in shape... those of you believing it have never been to a gym.

Seriously, if being fit was easy, more people would be fit.

He's gained 19 lbs in less than 12 months.
He was listed at around 210 in most places last year.

Exactly, even the roided up professional bodybuilders can only hope to gain 10-15lbs of muscle A YEAR. (No I'm not talking about water, fat, glycogen storage mass.)

DD? We'll see. I don't think he fits as no. 3 C. For me, the perfect no. 3 C was Carbo. Hugely D talented, with some dangerous scoring skill. DD just does not have the speed and strength to be a big D no. 3.

That leaves Dumont, Bournival, Nats...

Not bad. I think Dumont may become the 3rd line C during our window. He's a gars, and like Carbo, he has the scoring skill. And Like Carbo, he also has attitude, speed, and smarts. I love that kid.

So for me it's:

Chuckie
Lars
Dumont
X

at center from 14-15. We can debate about who 4th line C X is. That's also of interest.
I'm hoping last year was an anomily for Louis Leblanc. You don't lose talent over night. He has got the hockey smarts to be an ideal 3rd line center that can play the shutdown role and contribute 30 points a year.

I'm hoping that he is injury free and finds his confidence this year in Hamilton and we see a bit of him towards the end of the year. I think he was rushed.

I feel like habs fans have this conversation every summer. Putting on 20-30lbs of muscle Blablabla. Impossible.

According to the team web site, Eller started the season at 209 lbs.

http://canadiens.nhl.com/club/player.htm?id=8474189

They update it once a year, at camp during physicals.

EDIT: Sorry, Mike The Wall had posted the link.

I hope it doesn't slow him too much, but, it would just be even better for the power game he developped last season.
