Interesting, I guess Florida is in a win-now mode. If Whitney can regain his 59 P self from Pittsburgh, he will help a lot.

Wow, an NHL old-folks home in Florida; who'd have thunk it?

MacTavish better offer Ryan Smyth straight up for Huberdeau.

He was close for half a season in Edmonton, but other than that, he hasn't been good. He's a bottom-pairing defender now, his foot injuries completely killed his mobility. He still makes an excellent first pass, and is decent on the PP, but that's about it.

Didn't find anything they liked in the waiver bin so they moved on to plan E?

Ryan Whitney has serious foot problems(that stem from being born with high arches) that he hasn't recovered from, he is pretty terrible now,

He probably has just as much of a chance at gaining a brand new 120-point centerman self.

Just like the Boyes and Gilbert signing, reclamation projects with low salaries. If they do bad, meh no biggie. If they do good, it's a huge steal. Win-win for Florida.

Oh no, are all the Canadians getting worried about the Panthers?? Boohoo!!!! Watch, Thomas,Whitney,Boyes,Gomez, and Gilbert have career years and the Panthers kick major ass this season. Add them to a healthy Versteeg,Kulikov, Huberdeau and Gudbranson. Then add Shore,Barkov,Markstrom and watch out!!

Good luck with all your Panther bashing ladies! New owners. An awesome GM. Best prospects in the league and some quality mix of youth and vets!

Let's go Cats!!

This cap has really put a lot of players position in the league in question, if your stock falls its seems to be crashing. I think Florida is gonna use all of these signings to then flip at the trade deadline to stock up on picks if the players have value.
