Comrie To The Leafs(Proposal)

Hey Guys,

What are you thoughts on this, the Leafs get Comrie to play down the middle behind Sundin.

The Oilers get potential, size and versatility.

To Leafs: Mike Comrie

To OIlers : Nik Antropov and 2nd round pick.

Antropov only make 600,000 a season, while the Leafs could probably afford to sign Comrie.

2nd round pick is a good addition as well.

Antropov is injury-prone. Isn't he injured again. No thanks.

I like it except Antropov is a bit too fragile...I gets hurt way to often...That's my only issue...

That plus the leafs will not give up Antropov. As soon as one of those highly amusing bwo people find this thread, they'll pop in with their famous quote...
No Nik for you!

They HIGHLY overestimate this guy's potential IMO

I agree that Antropov is prone to injruy but he will work through it and be all right. I think this trade is fair value for both teams.

I'd take it in a hearbeat. Nik is a physical, two way center who can grind and has some skill. He's injury prone, but also only 22 and already is much better defensively than comrie. Also he can step in right away, and he addresses a much, much needed size issue down the middle.

I like Antropov alot, but the Leafs shouldn't give him up. Even with his injury problems and foot speed, Antropov brings alot to the game and will probably have a long career.
