Nice performance from Lev, deserved win.
Lev is the only non-russian team that I can see playing Conference finals and Gagarin Cup final. Excellently composed team with a true coach and management.

Too bad the fans can't/won't recognize the quality of hockey Lev is producing on ice, they are real treat to watch. What's the problem?

Artificially created team, now with only 8 Czechs playing on it and a new Finnish head-coach... don't see how this can improve in the near future.

By the way, to continue the "Lev castaways for Slovan" tradition (Škoula was surprisingly good tonight), would you mind sending the defenceman Juraj Mikuš to Slovan, since he's not playing for Lev anyway? Thanks!

PS: I'd also take Cingel.

Meh, it will take a few years.. Maybe eventually moving into O2 will help also. I think they will win over the younger crowd, eventually they will have roots and fans if they stay the course. for now, I think getting 5k fans to the games in an arena that farm animals would be ashamed of is great.

Yesterday, great games for Prague, especially fo Sportovni Holding Praha. Sparta routed local rival 0:6 with attendance 12k. Lev overshooted Traktor (Meteor) Čeljabinsk 7:2 with crowd 4k. It seems very low, but in spite of derby and home game in near Kladno it is good.

It is nice to take castaways and have 3 wins and just 1 loss.

OK, Smoleňák isn't coming to Lev. Now it's rumoured that Petružálek might be coming.
And Niko Kapanen will return in January...

Source is official Lev website. Section For Fans, where the people can ask directly.
Yeah about that Petružálek doesn't want to play with Czechs..it's true, but money talks.

I only can see that they are not planning any changes on the roster.

But these section is for wishes of fans Amur has problems and Petružálek is their best player and Czech, so logically he is in center of rumors.

Petružálek didnt say directly that he dont want play with Czech and Slovaks in any clubs. He dont play with them in foreign clubs where groupes of foreingers who talk mainly only each other are blamed at first if club dont play good

Kellner is now main owner (83 procent) of O2 Arena. What does it mean for Lev? IDK. But he made fortune by buying, improving and selling and he is very active in Russia

Kapanen out two months, won't play in Olympics. Also Lev fired the team doctor that made the initial false diagnosis.

All three are very good players. Ridderwall is tough and good shorthanded. Thörnberg is sniper, good skater. Zackrisson plays well in the formation together with Thörnberg.
And now Lev has bought Ullström.

Is Lev done after this season or by 2015 the latest? They don't seem to build a really strong fanbase in 18 months now.

I don't know about this season but it was reported in Finnish press some time ago already that the Russian owners would pull their backing in a couple of years and hope the team would have enough domestic funding behind it by then (I may have asked/mentioned it in this thread before and the Czech posters confirmed it). If it doesn't and there's no fan support, I don't see it lasting in that case.

Sorry to ask this here: Slavia and Sparta reaction to Lev existence is ok? They support the Praha KHL team?

Just curious to see a city with two hockey traditional giants, that probably divide the city in half...

Sparta Praha and Lev Praha have the same owner. Sportovní holding Praha. So this is alright.
Slavia Praha doesn't care too much about it. Different league, different stadium, different fans.
I would say more people go to see Lev are Sparta fans. Just because they have the same arena and marketing stuff.
