Biggest riser award goes to Brett Ritchie for his outstanding final season in juniors, narrowly edging out the impressive freshman campaign of Devin Shore.

Shore would be my pick for biggest riser next year. I think this kid will have a big sophomore season ... a la Reilly Smith. My 2nd pick would be Remi Elie. Reports out of London sound good, and Nick Paul could be an option because it sounds like he'll get Top 6 minutes in North Bay.

Shore is a good choice for riser. It will be tough though just because the quality in front of him seems so good right now. Elie definitely has a chance just because the competition in front of him is a little weaker.

Now all we need is Farkas' list for HF to come out and the off-season will be complete.

Finishing it off now. One unfortunate caveat, despite my protests, they've made me include the ES leader in ice time for the Stars last year, Brenden Dillon. So that threw a wrench into things...

Well that only moves the bottom 15 down a spot, right? That sort of makes it easier at the end where it was such a tossup to fill that 20th spot...

Dillon's a great prospect, and while I am really big on his upside, it's not better than Oleksiak, Campbell, Nichushkin, and Chiasson. It's probably slightly behind Ritchie's too. But that's really it.

Thanks for finishing it up, piqued. Towards the end it just kept slipping my mind.

Upside, yes. But proximity should also be factored in (and is). You can't get any closer to the show than Dillon is...being a #1 d-man on a fringe playoff team and all...

As a result, Dillon will be featured prominently, for better or for worse.

Further discussion can be had when my list is posted, I don't want to derail this thread any further from the great work that you guys did putting this all together.

I guess that's not really surprising. It's 65 games played to not be considered a prospect anymore, right? If so, he's just a bit shy of that mark.
