If I'm not mistaken there's two games today

Various NHL players say who they think the best goalie in the league is. Toews said Luongo, which I wouldn't have expected. Maybe he was just trolling

Can anyone make out who Backes said. The audio was bad for me.

Last time we faced Luongo they beat us in a game 7...

not that he is the best but he sure isn't as bad as some make him out to be. I'd say Rinne as West player and Lundqvist as East player

I'd include Rask in my top 3.

Lundqvist, Quick, and Rinne are the obvious top-three in my eyes.

lol sharpie

mostly predictable answers, and I tend to agree.

My top 5 goes something like this:

1/2 - Lundqvist/Quick
3/4 - Rinne/Luongo
5 - Likely Rask, but one of Rask Price Halak or Lehtonen for me

Luongo in prime form 8 minutes in.

Too bad this isn't the regular season....

I know it's only pre-season but it's still pretty hilarious.

I know it's just pre-season...but Luongo has given up 4 goals on 12 shots so far.

So is tomorrow Crosby's first appearance in town? Seems like he's someone flaked out every time prior to this.

I remember him playing here his first or second year, but yeah, not since.

yeah...he couldn't play us last year b/c it was just conference play. the year before he was injured - i'd have to look up previous years...but there was staggered play b/w the east/west re who got the home games.

on a different note, am i alone in thinking there's decent chance detroit misses the playoffs this year? i've read stuff to the effect that now they've been moved to the east things will be easier for them and they'll slot in right behind boston. i don't think it's easy as that and actually think there's a good chance they have difficulty in their new division.

I'm pretty sure Crosby has played here, there's that picture of Keith hitting him from, uh, "behind".

I remember Crosby missed Toews' helmet-night hattrick. One of the more amuzing things I've seen at a Hawks game, both times the helmets went flying...and some getting stuck on the protective netting.

According to @BovadaLV, over-under for points for #Blackhawks' Patrick Kane this season is 81.5. Jonathan Toews at 74.5, Patrick Sharp 60.5.

I think 60.5 seems like a really good number putting him at about a .85 ptspg pace (about his average for the last 5 seasons) for 70 games played. I think 60.5 is a bet on his health rather than his scoring pace.
