I don't do the twitter thing, but I see his tweets posted on these boards all the time... Whoever handles that account has some absolutely hilarious tweets, and if you do have twitter, definitely follow him.

He's essentially the Onion of the hockey world at this point. It's pretty much a given that a hockey fan on the interwebs should at least be aware that he's being facetious at this point.

Sheesh, that's all kinds of lulzy. Wouldn't blame it on Luongo, though.

Klinkhammer with two goals for Phoenix tonight. Happy to see him do well, him and Dowell were two thirds of what I feel would have been a great fourth line for this team a few years back.

@ChrisBlock
Steve Montador has left KHL team Medvescak Zagreb. Official team release citing health concerns and that no official decision on retirement.

@SlavaMalamud
Steve Montador's "retirement" from KHL's Medvescak is temporary and subject to recovery from injuries. Move to have roster space. May return

Yakupov just got healthy scratched out in edmonton

Would there be any interest here with something revolving around Hossa+. I think it is something to think about considering his contract going forward and potential decline. Edmonton should be interested in leadership and experience as well.

Dumb? I dont know

Next year

Bickell-Toews-Kane
Sharp-Teravainen-Yakupov
Saad-Shaw-Morin
Bollig-Kruger-Smith

Yakupov has many years of success ahead of him. Hossa doesn't have nearly as many. Hossa can't be a centerpiece of a Yakupov-based trade. Edmonton would want Keith or Seabrook.

we don't really need yakupov and edmonton doesn't need a player like hossa. they're definitely in need of defense and a goalie.

I'd prefer it if Hossa retired as a Blackhawk.

Overreaction. Even Stamkos was a healthy scratch early on in his career.

Also, how does Hossa help solve any of their problems? He improves their PK and D some, but nowhere near enough given their need.

How spoiled are the Hawks supposed to get at forward? Isn't Toews, Teuvo, Kane, Sharp, Hossa (probably), and Saad starting next year enough going forward?

You can thank Barry Melrose for that. What an inept coach.

Two Hossas plus the rest? Yeah, I think I could be content with that, as long as Hossa 2.0 can play left wing.
