There's a new 24/7-style show about the Bruins. The first episode was today - it starts with them sitting - crushed - in the dressing room after losing to the Hawks and continues through the offseason. Some interesting stuff in their about the SEguin trade.

Wow, I was worried Holmgren may have changed his ways a bit. LeCavalier and Streit for less than 7 years and a reasonable bridge for Couturier. The Cleary deal reassures me the humungous big universe isn't changing all that much.

Such a waste, probably killed some value on any dman he's going to move now too.

Flames maybe? Open goaltender slot and a huge amount of cap space.

Not sure why the Flames would add him, to me it looks like they want to tank this year.

That Clearly deal continues to prove Paul Holmgren makes impulsive decisions that are quite ******** for his organization.

"Getting on" isn't the same as "getting it on"

according to bob mckenzie he's considering PTOs, not actual contracts...or at least that's what Florida offered him.

Thomas would win a PTO and get a good contract; I can't see anyone disputing that. He's been great for a long time.

He couldn't break into the league until age 31, because he wasn't good enough and has played less than 380 regular season games in his career. Kari Lehtonen has played more regular season games than Thomas has.

Thomas was great for a long time. Why does it matter when his great stretch began?
