NFLPA tells @wingoz that, depending on what MRSA containment report says, the NFLPA could advise Bucs-Eagles not to play this weekend.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers rookie cornerback Johnthan Banks became the third member of the team to be diagnosed with a methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) infection, NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported Friday, according to two sources informed of the situation.

The Buccaneers earlier announced that a third member of the team had been diagnosed with MRSA. The team said it was not at liberty to confirm or deny the identity of the player.

Duke Infection Control Outreach Network (DICON) Co-Director Dr. Deverick J. Anderson addressed the team and staff on Friday, according to the team's official website.

MRSA is a type of staph infection that's become resistant to the antibiotics commonly used to treat ordinary staph infections.

I am wondering if the Bucs will also try to put that player on the non-football-injury list like they did with Tynes....

Apparently that's not the son who was injured, but another son he had in SD.

You are correct:
Quote:
Sean Jensen of the St. Paul Pioneer Press spoke to Petersonís father, who confirmed the child is Adrian Petersonís son, but is not Adrian Peterson Jr. That clears up several conflicting reports about the childís identity.
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...-his-grandson/

AP also wants to play on Sunday. He will either collapse on the field or set a new rushing record.

Completely missed the MRSA part. Tampa had their facilities "nuked" many weeks ago to deal with this as well. Crazy stuff... I think the Patriots did as well.

Couldn't they just play the Tampa-Eagles game in Philly or are there other commitments over there that prevents it?

So what exactly is supposed to happen, fantasy wise, if the Eagles/Bucs game is postponed because not having McCoy in my lineup would completely sink me this weekend?

Tampa would never agree to drop a home game

If one player playing or not could sink your entire game then you have other problems

I've been sick to my stomach all day about that Peterson story, just disgusting. I really hope that man gets what's coming to him.

Also, jets could be seriously lacking this weekend with Winslow suspended 4 games, and possibly no Cromartie.
