Yeah I was hearing knocks on Tatar's speed before he came up. And if he hadn't significantly improved, I want to have a word with everyone calling him slow because he was not slow.

Which leads me to believe its very possible for 18-22 year olds to increase their speeds, depending on what's making then less than speedy.

Tatar has made big gains in the speed department, although he was never slow, just very average. A part of the speed thing is he actually knows where he is supposed to be now and plays the whole ice starting last year or at least tries to, that makes him appear a little quicker when watching as well.
