This season really needs some compelling stories and needs to be a hit. It's been a similar storyline for the past couple of seasons and it's getting a little 'meh'.

The premiere was a mish mash of random story lines. I hope they bring them together at some point.

I'm glad there is some continuity. Gemma is still annoying.

Would be hilarious if somehow Michael Chiklis is in this or next season
You missed Benito Martinez and Walton Goggins (only in one episode).

Almost the whole main cast except Michael Chiklis and Catherine Dent.

It was better than last week, but Lee is just a mediocre big bad. He's more annoying than he is menacing.

Well, I was happy to see less of Gemma and Tara than usual, but it was still a pretty "meh" episode. I don't know, maybe I'm just feeling a bit nostalgic, but this show doesn't have the same magic it had during the first four seasons (especially season two).

My main issue with this season is why does Donal Logue's character have so much power and influence? He's a retired junkie and he clearly has mental issues. I just don't get how he can run around pulling favors and making threats to everyone.

Can't wait to see what this will be concerning Donal Logue's character..

Quote:
The material has also proven to be quite disturbing to play, as viewers will come to appreciate as Season 6 rolls on. (The opening to Episode 3, in particular, will send your jaw on an express elevator to the floor.)

“I will say this — and bear in mind that I’ve engaged in some pretty heinous activity on Copper [as Brendan Donovan], and there are some incredibly nasty things that I do on Vikings,” Logue starts. “As much as the Sons cast and crew was, like Terriers, the most familial environment I’ve ever had, I left work so disturbed by the things that I had done — and that has never happened to me before. It’s almost like I couldn’t even stand to be in the car with myself as I drove away.”

So, who else besides Juice knows what really happened? Was he ordered by Jax to do it (behind Nero's back), or did he decide on his own? Couldn't tell, from all the glances from Chibs and Juice being all broody again.

It seemed to me Jax, Juice, Chibs, and Tig knew what they were doing.

I'm not willing to believe that Nero is so naive that he doesn't know what happened

Download of all SoA seasons done in 5 minutes. Should I start watching the first season or will I never leave my house and fail school if I begin this weekend?

I'd say it's likely, if you're prone to that (as I am). I crushed seasons 1-5 in a very short time. It's pretty addictive.

Same here. I watched all five seasons in a span of about two and a half weeks. I had days where I'd watch five episodes in a row.

I don't understand why SOA smothered her. She was a junkie. If you wanted to kill her just stick her with some more heroin. Then you don't need to bury her, and your problem goes away.

Toric is the worst thing this show has added so far, first the whole thing with him and Nero now and the way he's just going around signing stuff, etc....I mean seriously, are they trying to ruin this show on purpose?

And I loved Terriers and I hate how that show was cancelled, it was funny and interesting and wham...the right combo to get a show axed these days. It has to be generic, close to pushing the edge but never threatening to, and bland to succeed.

Took the words right out of my mouth. Someone please strap down Kurt Sutter and force him to watch some Justified or something so that he can see what a real Big Bad is like.
