Pretty weak card. Excited for the main and McCall fights. Not even sure if the co-main will end up being any good at all.

Top three fights would have been Aldo/Pettis, Machida/Davis, and Koscheck/Maia. Robert Drysdale's UFC debut could have been interesting as well.

HOLY S, Thales Leites is back?!!!???? One of my favorite BJJ players to watch ..... WOOOO

And Robert Drysfale was going to fight!??! Where have I been ?

Excited about this card. Really like Jung Chan-sung. Would love to see him be the first Asian fighter to hold a UFC belt.

Edit: I feel like I say "excited about this card" about every card. Hard not to be. This sport is amazing. I feel bad for fans who don't know about Magahlaes or Yahya or Leites or Gaff. WOOOO ... can't wait.

Phil's got absolutely nothing for him. I can't believe Lyoto's only like -320 or whatever. I'd have him at least double that. Phil won't be able to take him down, he doesn't have one shot KO power, and Machida will light him up standing.

I expect a boring fight where Lyoto avoids Phil's takedowns and Davis never truly gets withing Lyoto's striking distance. I hope I'm wrong and Phil thinks he can stand-up with Lyoto.

Does any body think the Korean Zombie has a legit shot at winning this bout?

Yes, if he can somehow get Aldo to the ground. I wouldnt put any money on it though. I think he gets ko'd. I also think Machida will ko Davis.

Well the odds are definitely interesting, almost 5 to 1 for Aldo winning...

There are two fights I would like to see on this card, and I wouldnt care too much if I missed them either.

The UFC has really shot themselves in the foot imo.

I know we have talked about this before several times, but I really do think the product has been watered down and I believe they are suffering from overexposure.

Less and less people participating on this forum would be one clue imo.

That has happened for sure. Not nearly as much discussion around here lately. And sure this card suffered some injuries, but it is downright awful for a PPV. I'm afraid to see the buyrate for this one. You accompany that with the terrible ratings from last weekend and you'd think it would at least make them take a step back and consider that they might have tried expanding too much too fast. Doubt that happens though.

Yup.

I'm a big Davis fan, and hope he comes out and shocks people and dominates Lyoto in a Sonnen-esque fashion... but I think it will go exactly as you mentioned with Machida taking all 3 rounds.

Phil will at least press to take him down, unlike hendo who has basically turned into rampage 2.0.

Unfortunately nobody has been able to control the dragon on the ground and I doubt it changes. Oh well, a rematch with Jones is actually interesting at this point. Lyoto def gave the champ some problems early in the first bout.

I think that if Jones and Glover win their fights, that's the fight that will be made.

That probably leaves us with Machida v Rashad 2, which is a really good PPV or Fox co-headline bout for a 125 lb title fight.

Aldo vs KZ should be outstanding though. Even if Aldo wins, and he probably will, it should be entertaining.
