Nope. I`m also in a

But at least we got that outoor game in our 20 anniversary season. Even Minnesota don`t have had an outdoor game

I`m sure we will get the draft or all star game soon. (in 3-5 years, if that counts as ''soon'') Because i think we could be the only team not getting one yet.

We will get one after the innovations are done probably.

I would love a draft there....but i'm not really a fan of the all star game so that one doesn't really matter to me.

Good point i haven`t thought about. Shouldn`t it be ready by 2014 IIRC?

I think we have a better shot at all-star game. LA recently had draft in this area. But this is NHL, everything can happen (or not happen)

I actually saw this concept for a logo for the 2015 all star game the other day, looks really good! I'm on my phone and don't know how to put an image in so I just put the link

That is a great concept. Unfortunately we don`t know if we`ll get an Al-star game. And if we do, that will definately not be the concept, unfortunately.

But all star game would be great. Imagine ''Team Getzlaf''

Anaheim is not an ideal city to host one of these events. They don't have a downtown or surrounding areas that can really utilize all the festivities that support a draft or All-Star game. We've been overlooked on purpose. I heard this from Tim Ryan or Bob Murray at one the season ticket holder events.

No idea why people want a draft. You get far more info just watching one on tv, and when the place is empty because there's virtually nobody from Anaheim who would actually care enough (or even realize it was happening) to take a day off of work to go the rest of the league would gleefully point out what a crappy market we are. All-Star weekends are much more of an event (and far more entertaining IMO).

I went to the draft, at the staples center with my wife and a friend. I had a great time. it was especially fun watching Fowler, and Etem getting picked. All star game however, like I said I really have no interest in.

I just don't get the allure of watching a couple hundred nervous kids and their families, then having the opportunity to clap for a minute or so when your team makes a pick. I understand some people DO want to attend a draft, it's just the WHY of it that escapes me. I get more out of watching one segment of a skills competition than I do the entire draft. To each their own.

Cool concept but not-so-great execution. Looks like it came straight out of the 90's. Way too busy.

Team Getzlaf vs Team Ryan. Please make this a thing. The Jerseys will be gold, and silver

I've stopped expecting one. I consider the European games and the outdoor game the NHL throwing the Ducks a bone on league events.

we're not one of uncle Gary's pet markets.

Phoenix will get another all star game before we ever get one

I remember hearing we were intending to get either one and made strong pitches in 2012.

Yeah there was certainly something mentioned recently. Maybe it was that we were trying to get one but would prefer an ASG. I can't remember well enough lol.

The All-Star Game is preferred by teams.

I'd assume hosting an All-Star Weekend would bring in a lot more revenue for the team and city, so that makes sense. Besides, only hardcore fans such as ourselves would consider a draft more fun (draft day is my xmas day). I went to the 08 draft in Ottawa for both days and had a great time. Got a bunch of autographs and met all kinds of players, execs and agents.
