1. C - Mikhail Grigorenko (Quebec, QMJHL) - 98 of 147 votes (66%)
Just going to take this over for the time being. I think there is a not of excitement over our current group of prospects and it will give us all something to discuss for now.
Added Compher to the poll, who won that vote in a land slide 21-4 over Bailey.

Number 1 was really easy with Grigorenko, but this one... Wow!
Really puts the talent of our prospect pool into perspective, when any of 4-5 guys could vie for #2. Any of Zemgus, Risto, Armia, Pysyk, and Zadorov could end up taking #2, or even #1 away from Girgorenko.
My heart wants to say Zemgus because I've just got a big man crush on him. My head wants to say Ristolainen because he is the highest drafted and coming out of a very deep draft.
But.... My vote goes to Armia, because I think he has as much natural talent and size as Grigorenko, and is developing an all around game. I'd say his MAX potential is a 50g scorer. Now I'm saying absolute max potential, not likelihood. I likely see him being a 25-30g regular. But, if his development path goes damn near perfectly and he is coached well, he's got the tools and potential of a real superstar scorer.
I may dislike Darcy sometimes for failing to act and being too cautious and safe (overvaluing players), but mark my words, he has built the foundations of a real winner over the past several drafts, and set us up real nice going forward.
This already is getting really tough. Armia, Risto, Girgs, and Pysyk all in the mix for me here. Armia's natural offensive skill is awesome, Risto's just got huge upside, Girgs has the kind of work ethic that makes me feel he's going to constantly be surpassing expectations and maxing out his potential, and Pysyk is just such a smart player and great skater. Ended up going with Ristolainen. Add Hurley.
