Why not? Why would there be a 4th round steal and no 1st round? 'Cause at the time of the pick, the guy that was picked 4th round, was most likely not scheduled to be picked in the 1st round anyway. So, I would call Claude Giroux a 1st round steal. Surely tougher to call a top 10 pick a steal though again...some will say that Cam Fowler was a steal. Or that Forsberg will be a steal. So I don't know why steal can't be used actually.

I'm just hoping he develops into something like Halpern (the one we've seen in MTL).

you are wrong. The official characterization is as follows:

1st rounder: meets, exceeds or Daigles

2nd rounder: steal, average, or "omg why didn't we draft Lucic instead of Maxwell? Timmins sucks"

3rd rounder-7th rounder: steal/Timmins is God, can't believe he fell this far, meh just a [3rd to 7th] rounder

Sweden coach Rikard Gronborg had good news on Oskar Sundqvist and Sebastian Collberg. Said both feel OK, but likely won't play Wednesday

Adam Kimelman ‏@NHLAdamK 21m
Sundqvist: "A little sore in his neck [but] no headaches." Definitely out Wednesday. Collberg no swelling in right knee, possible for Wed.

Great news.

Hopefully they keep Collberg out of Wednesday's game. You know he'll be there at the U-20, no sense risking his knee to further aggravation.

Why the heck is Hudon playing right now. Guy is a lock. Rest him once and for all so his back injury is behind it. If not, he'll injured it again and won't be at the WJC AGAIN.....

He must be totally over the back problems now.

as a sags fan, I'm pretty happy that he plays there, he'll benefit from the experience and grow on it.

most player that didn't go (Mac, Drouin etc...) doesn't they have a shot at making the NHL this year?

might be a reason why they didn't go, no?

Hudon? How come? Is he considered a safe bet to make the team? I mean, I would hope making the team during a lockout season would be enough to secure a spot for this year's team.

He should be secured to make it so it must be why he doesn't play.

collberg's assist and mccarrons points all of a beast forecheck, now thats something to be excited about, if you can do that AND have the skill to cash in...thats a pro prospect...I saw Big Mac at camp this year they had him as one of the guys doing shootouts in between periods often and he had pretty soft mits for a big guy. He lovvvves causing **** after the whistile in the crease too, even during practice, can't wait to see in a real game (not international, where he can just drop someone)

Still injured:
Quote:

They have a ton of bodies in camp, can't play them all in 1 game. We'll see if he plays in the next one.

Why didn't Lekhonen get an assist in the USA/FIN game when the description of the play suggest he passed the puck to TT before he scored a goal?
