McCarron is doing a little bit of everything really, not much to complain about. Hasn't he been more productive than De La Rose?

He's not going to put up the same sort of numbers Collberg and Lehkonen will when they are playing well, especially on international ice.

No, there was a game in between those where he had no points. I'm not just saying that based on production though anyways. I read he just had an average game, didn't show much. Wasn't trying to bash him in any way.

#Habs pick Jacob De La Rose just rifled one past Fucale and it's a one-goal lead for Canada

Conflicting emotions.

I wonder how Hudon is doing. Hopefully his injuries doesn't end up making team Canada second guess putting him on the team.

So... it would appear that Canada is thrashing Sweden at the moment.

Hopefully Hudon is playing well though it doesn't appear that his name is appearing on the scoresheet all that much.

that's a great point, he doesn't really play an "international game"

Add that to Kuznetsov actually coming overseas, keeping the Forsberg they sold low on and Backstrom/OV.

I've been told that Collberg will be out for a week. Not a bad time to miss a few days.

Yup, misses no SHL time.. can comfortably heal before going back onto the ice and should not see any ill-effects. He proved in his two games, that once again, he's a dynamic player offensively, especially on the PP.

Watching Lehkonen in the tournament (what little I can see), I'm hard pressed to remember a Habs prospect with that much natural goal scoring talent. We have a few guys who can score and have some great shots, but that goal against Canada was just a snipers shot.

I'm happy it's not long term. My uncle had a supper with Marc Bergevin as a part of a charity event about three weeks ago, when asked about which prospects he is high on, he told my uncle to "keep and eye on Collberg during training camp, he's 'very, very' close."

Would have been a shame if he was injured come camp time and couldn't show where he is at.

Not sure if Collberg would even be here during training camp...

Coincidentally I've seen Collberg score some similar ones...they are both very talented European snipers, hopefully their games can translate to the NHL. TT considered Lehkonen to be a top 35 pick going into the draft. I think he was pleased to get four picks that were in his top 35.

Is he coming to the Habs camp?

I thought he had a contract in SHL for another year.
But he also signed an ELC with us.

Can he go to AHL?
