Pacioretty was sent down because he wasn't playing well and dominated the AHL and worked his way back up.

Eller was scratched and demoted to the 3rd and 4th line and worked his way back up. He was never handed anything. He played with the minutes that he had and made the most of it.

Your examples weren't very good to be honest.

Read it again, you got that wrong. I never compared Louis to Eller or Patches. I said you guys were saying they were lost causes.

Wow, the Bulldogs come back from behind to win it in OT! Leblanc with 1G2A and Andrighetto with 2G.

Huge slap shot by Sven Andrighetto finds the crossbar and post on its way in. Shorthanded at 3:18 of the third. 2-2.
For those who asked.

I have never ever said Leblanc was a lost cause. I said that he has to EARN his icetime.

Impressive game from Andrighetto, what a cannon of a slap shot on the SH goal, he really got ahold of that one. The 2nd goal was off a rebound and he could have had at least one more as he moves very well and is willing to take the puck into heavy traffic at high speed.

I thought the duo of Dumont and Leblanc both had likely their best games of the season. Dumont had a big shot block on the PK late in the 3rd and Leblanc was finally able to put one home.

Not the best game for Tokarski, but glad to see him get the win as he was really good the other night and ended up with nothing to show for it.

Fournier and Morgan Ellis made their season debut.

Curious how Ghetto ended up as the lone forward on the PK. Coach's trust already?

Going to guess Leblanc saw Holland's promotion and thought I better step up my game.

He knows that when Thomas returns he'll have Blunden, Holland, Dumont and Thomas ahead of him.

Leblanc controls his own faith, all he needs is to show more determination and he'll find his way back ahead of those guys in no time.

Thanks for these, That! Nystrom seems to move well and carry the puck nicely. Is it me or does he have a really long stick? Man that sounds awful but still long stick right?

Good to hear the colour guy really impressed with Andrighetto. I hope he can turn into something.

It shouldn't be too hard if he's serious about it.

Nygren seems to be the guy on ice setting up the transition on most of the goals and is always in position to get the rebound if there is one. Thanks for the videos too, I was going to watch the VOD but you saved me three hours.

Renaud Lavoie ‏@LavoieRenaud 8h Les Bulldogs l'emportent 5-4 sur Rockford. 1 but et 2 passes pour Louis Leblanc.

Good to see LL bounce back from a rough start with a big game...that's what MB and co were hoping for by demoting him, to light a fire...hopefully he can keep it going.

I wonder if he goes full-Pacioretty: http://theahl.com/stats/gamebygame.p...nId=34&id=2543

Good camp, sent down.

Starts AHL season with 0 goals - 5 assists in first 6 games.

Gets 3 point game to start off a 21 game run with 17 goals - 27 points before being called up for good.

I like your thinking Watsatheo. And as one who hasn't yet given up on LL, I sure hope you're right. He's still young and guys blossom at different times.

I do hope SL will reward Leblanc's effort and get him in the top 6.

LL is not in top 6 now ? Not even with the absence of Thomas, Blunden and Holland ?

Glad to hear that Leblanc had a good game. Maybe it's been a matter of him getting over the disappointment of not making the NHL out of training camp. Whatever the reason, from what I have read it sounds like he was more engaged this game than any other.

It's not a matter of giving Leblanc special consideration, it's a matter of him taking advantage of the opportunities given to him. He finally showed that he could do that... now if he continues it will be good news for everyone.

That would be good... but only if he can avoid the Pacioretty injury syndrome

Andrighetto is looking really stocky.. which is refreshing from watching midgets like Desharnais who fall down when a player breathes on him.
