So, are we going to consider cards on FS1 as PPV's or regular TV cards?

I think we should do the while card since the quality of the prelims is a lot higher than the Fuel cards.

So Speed Channel is being axed and replaced with FS1. Speed Channel is in something like 90mil homes.

I don't have Fuel but I do have Speed so hopefully I get to see this. I hate streaming sometimes.

Overeem getting knocked out again would be amazing. For some reason I just really hate that guy.

I don't do picks anymore, but I'll say this - don't switch from the previous format just based on one card. Yes this undercard is great, but if you look ahead a bit it's back to some subpar prelim fighters that most people won't know. I would suggest sticking with the full card picks for PPV and Fox cards, and staying with main card only for the FSOne series.

Is anyone here who is a Comcast user gets Speed on a Digital Starter package? It looks like I won't be getting FS1 and it's supposed be available in like most homes.

This. The UFC has clearly stacked this card for the launch of FS1, I wouldn't expect this to be the norm going forward, especially since a lot of these FS1 cards are going to be on mid-week.

Gotta say, it's nice living in Canada and having all non-PPV UFC programming on Sportsnet.

Yeah this card is amazing. So many good fights. Even the undercard is pretty ****ing good. Kinda sucks though that I'll have to stream it. Moved and don't have even any form of cable or anything. But oh well. I'm used to it by now.

Seriously. Amazing card.

I think there are three levels of Comcast in most area's. Speed(FX1) isn't available on the bottom or middle tier.

Digital Premiere is the top in my area and the only one w/Speed of the three options.

Hmmm... I think this is far from an amazing card. Certainly good for free TV but these are all "hyped" fighters.

OK disregard what I said. Looks like Comcast made it free for Digital Starter. It works on my box now. It didn't a month ago.

No title fights is a big reason for that. I mean the main event is a fight that is totally meaningless.

Not even that, just the main card is blah to me.
Sonnen-Rua, as you mentioned.
Faber getting Alcantara?? Is he even ranked?
Overeem-Browne should be interesting, but co-main event?
Pyle-Brown. Good fight, even though it was going to be Corassani - Brown rofl
Who is John Howard?
Lauzon getting Johnson? I'm a huge Johnson fan, but the guy has been getting dominated on the undercard.

I hate when cards are designed to give guys wins. At least the prelims should be really good, but even some of those matchups are questionable.

Maybe I'm just preparing incase I don't get FS1. Is Fios carrying it?

consider me shocked, shocked that uriah halls fight got changed. josh samman is the biggest kitten in the fight game, quit running from uriah you female dog. i guess the plus side is samman doesnt have the potential to ruin uriahs hype since hes a good fighter allegedly

War Sonnen!

Pyle / Brown fight should be great ... FOTN maybe?

I've never been blown away by Browne, but the dude's a physical freak ... but it's Overeem ... but is Overeem still Overeem? Can't wait.

It's not a phenomenal card, but it's certainly better than the last two. Shogun and Sonnen, while the fight itself doesn't mean much, they're both very relevant. Shogun wins convincingly he could be in a title eliminator. Sonnen wins and he could easily get a title eliminator at 185. If either Browne or Reem win in impressive fashion I could see either waiting for a title shot, or fighting once more for a shot at the title. Faber's a draw. Uriah's interesting.

I have a feeling Overeem rolls through Browne. I like him a lot at -175. Can't believe Chael's -150. Five rounds actually helps Shogun IMO. Gives him more time to catch Sonnen, or more time for Sonnen to make a mistake. I'd give Chael a much better shot in a three rounder.

Really? I find it's the other way around, I don't think Shogun has the cardio to go 5 rounds.

Yeah but it's been 3 fights since Chael hasn't made a mistake in a 5 round fight.
