From a first round stand up fight to a second round ground game contest. Really good fight this.

Those jabs were more significant than Manny's kicks, Miller was clearly more effective and damaging with his strikes, no possible way you could argue otherwise. Manny won because he pushed Cole against the cage and got a few takedowns, Cole even landed the better shots against the cage with his elbows.

They blew up so bad in that third round. They had nothing left.

I didn't think the jabs did much damage and IMO the judges got it right.

That was an awful third round. Looked like two HWs at the end of a five round fight.

He just got caught early by a quick uppercut and he went downhill quickly from there. Not sure that is a good indication of whether he still has it or not.

Anyone want to explain the hype around McGregor for me?

Wow, Sonnen was around -135 a week or so ago, and now Shogun is -160. I don't think I've ever seen a line move that much.

Little bit of RVD Rolling Thunder at the end there. McGregor has a stance like an 1880's tent fighter. He is so unorthodox.

That is some fancy camera work by FOX. Looks CGI.

Connor is a lot of fun to watch but he needs to get better on the ground.

First was a lot of fun, he was saying that his knee went on him sometime in the second, so he starting going for takedowns.

I've been wondering this myself. I can see it now for sure. Not saying he's gonna beat Aldo or anything like that, but the guy is definitely entertaining. He's a personality too. Guy throws a lot of very unorthodox stuff, and has that kinda Diaz reaction anytime he gets hit to throw his arms out as if to say "what". I think him being Irish factors in too. They seem to be pretty passionate/loyal to their own.

He seemed to gas after the first, and I was surprised he went for takedowns in the third (don't get me wrong it's smart when you're winning, it just surprised me), but he just explained he hurt his knee halfway through the second and that was why. Makes more sense now.

This is exactly what the lighter weight classes need is personalities/draws like this.

Forgot to mention this. Maybe it'll grow on me, but I did not like that at all.
