Usually it comes out mid-week or later. Takes some time to create those awesome videos

Interesting stuff btw: (French) http://lefooteur.com/2013/08/20/foot...e-deplacement/
Why not? Make him sit for 60-75 min than bring him in if necessary. Nesta is already staying, the team wouldn't let our 2 main center backs home..

It's a local interview with Felipe and Romero.

Anything interesting said?
Didn't get much. Romero said something about being confident that they can get the 3 pts and that they are calm? Then something about the morning involving the team. And then I really got lost and I can't understand any of Felipe

IMO the reason why they didn't bring Bernier,Nesta & Di Vaio was because of the flight time. If this was a game in Toronto, they all would of have came. I know what you mean, and I agree. But speaking as the coach, If you want to rest players, you leave them in Montreal. I don't see bringing Ferrari on this trip & making him play 10 minutes as much of a big "rest".

Not sure what Stadium that one is.. CD Heredia's? Or the one we'll play in? The game is being played in Guatemala City, exactly because CD Heredia's home stadium didn't pass FIFA's standards.

EDIT: Got my Thiago Silva kit in the mail today. Been collecting them
http://i.imgur.com/eyudiRK.jpg

Also got a Van Persie one, but let's forget it

Oh man, this Houston vs W connection game is my worst nightmare.

The most boring 0-0 possible.

the home team is parking the bus and Houston has no good answers to them.

Horrible.

That's their usual stadium, the one that doesn't meet the regulations.

The one in which they will play tomorrow looks much nicer: https://www.google.ca/search?q=Estad...BbOh4APfq4GIBQ

In a past not so far away, the Impact used to play on a comparable field. No need to lack respect for a team that comes from a country that is not as well off as we are.

Yeah, that was a cheap comment. Sorry if I offended any Guatemalans on this website.

...and if he does, so what. As long as we come out of there with a tie we're good. Mind you a win would be great for sure.

What if he starts and scores 3 goals?
There's no way to know how the game will look like! I'd like to see a few youngsters in the Impact line-up but I don't think it will happen. I would bet on this line-up:

Bush
Camara - Lefèvre (Piscu) - Ferrari - Brovsky
Romero (Pisanu) - Bernadello - Arnaud - Mapp (Smith)
Felipe
Paponi

There is no reason why Piscu shouldnt play whole 90 minutes.
Start Pisanu instead of- Romero.

According to Frederic Lord:

Je peux vous confirmer que Justin Mapp et Matteo Ferrari sont aussi restés à Montréal avec Bernier, Di Vaio et Nesta #IMFC #LeSaviezVous?

The positive things are that:

1) Some young guys will get a shot.
2) 6 of our key guys (Perkins - even though he took the trip -, MDV, Nesta, Bernier, Mapp and Ferrari) will be rested for Saturday.
3) We will probably get the 3 points anyway because the guys that don't play often have something to prove.

It could all be positive in the end... hopefully.

Nesta and Ferrari badly needed a rest, so its good they're not playing. The forward contingent also badly needs to prove to themselves that they score goals without Di Vaio. So hopefully that will happen tonight.

Wenger will continue his great cup play.

To those a few pages back about TFC I wouldn't mind taking these players of their hands:

Doneil Henry: Has a few kinks to work out but always finds the ball on a set play.
Darren O'Dea: Was only released so he could go play in Ukraine. Was a great LB.
Jeremy Brockie: Shows great hustle, would be a great depth player on this team.

Going to Rachid Badouri's show tonight at 8. I live like 5 minutes away, so I shouldn't miss too much action.
