2-1 Wild, goal by Wanvig. Sounded like Luoma got beat to the outside on that one.

Beaten to the outside by Wanvig? Please tell me that it was Wes Walz that did that.

I think some of the cuts have become obvious (Prendergast mentioned Allen and Valiquette as probable cuts then backtracked in between periods), and Luoma seems to have fallen a full length behind Bergeron. So that makes it:

29. Valiquette
28. Allen
27. Luoma

Up front, Salmelainen, Wright, Rita, Stoll and Sarno are fighting it out for two spots. I still think Stoll should win the job, but Sarno offers alot of nice things, like soft hands for the powerplay and several years of pro experience. Tough call.

Among the wingers, Wright has certainly had a solid camp, but imo Rita has earned the right to start in the show:

26. Stoll
25. Salmelainen
24. Wright

Not sure. I only caught the tail end of the play...

Holy CROW this game sounds boring on the radio. Sounds like we're heading towards a typical Wild win.

Lowetide, are you thinking that Sarno might be short-term until we get the 'other situation' straightened out or do you think Sarno has finally turned the corner. I notice you have been a big fan thoughout TC and was just curious why.

oh oh .. Salmelainen scores to tie it up ... still gonna be cut?

Also I have been impressed with Sarno, I think he should stay over Stoll. Stoll can benefit from another year in the AHL. At least I think... I mean Stoll is still just a kid..

Probably just won himself a ticket to the next game.

Salmelainen, from Horcoff and Chimera.

Maybe Salmo bought himself another game?

...and Rod promptly gives him the kiss o' death by calling him "one of the Oilers' best offensive players tonight..."

Way to go, Rod!

How much icetime has Sarno gotten tonight?

Just started listening in the third and haven't heard his name yet(listening part-time).
