Got my haircut next to Jamie and Jordie Benn in Victoria today. Seems like they're in town training.

Do you like lawyer shows? Suits seems well liked by most people i know.

Breaking Bad is absurdly good. But I also watch True Blood, Dexter, Newsroom, and Under the Dome. I can see how these may not be popular with some people. The first 2 have had enormously inconsistent quality and Sorkin's writing (Newsroom) may not be for everyone.

You know what i dislike, towing trucks. They drive like maniacs around downtown, like this is GTA and they are doing a mission to tow as many cars as they can.

I do like the Barbie storyline. I specifically like how he slapped Junior around, that kid deserves it!

Suits is amazing. Not quite Breaking Bad level but certainly worth watching. It's still appealing even if legal dramas aren't your thing.

I've had every NHL game since 2002 but chose to take FIFA 13 over NHL 13 this year. Considering getting 14, would also like to see other peoples opinion on this.

I was really, really disappointed with NHL 13. Won't be wasting money on 14.

There is the NHL '94 mode, which allows you to play the game in a top-down style like the classic. However, for those that didnt play (or were born) than, it might not be worth it. Damn I sound old.

I have no hope for the NHL series.
It is a big money grab right now.
They have 4 people working on the game...
Compared to a whole floor for FIFA.
Support for the game is minimal...
And because they have so few people working on it...
Things continued to be recycled.

Every year...
There are minimal improvements...
And while they update the roster...
It is pretty terrible.
Players are not on the right teams...
Some prospects do not appear at all...
The equipments for some players are wrong...
Handedness is often wrong...
And worst of all...
Sometimes even the skin colour is wrong.

I played NHL 13...
And I quickly traded it in...
When Future Shop had a trade 1 for $40 deal.
Usually I just play dynasty...
And I am very annoyed...
That the rosters are never correct.
In regards to gameplay itself...
It was average at best.

I would probably skip it.
If you really want a sports game...
Go with FIFA...
Where the majority of the resources are allocated...
And the rosters are usually very good...
Because there are fan created ones...
That can be shared.
I played the demo...
And I actually enjoy it more than NHL.
It is just a better game.

If you are still curious about NHL 14...
Wait until the reviews...
Before you make a decision.
Sport games are $60...
Which is quite a big investment...
For something that is obsolete after a year...
And probably cannot be traded in...
Due to a new console being released.

I wasn't even born then lol. I think I'm gonna wait and see what people's opinio on the game is when it comes out before buying it, as of right now IMO FIFA is the much better purchase.

Unfortunately...
They almost never drop in price.
When they do...
It never drop below $40.
$20 is my benchmark for games right now...
Especially what is essentially the same product...
Come out every year.

I may just get into PC gaming...
From now on.
Steam is so much cheaper.

What is it about tattoos?
Someone on my facebook page just got a tattoo sleeve...
And I am holding off the urge to ask him why.

They say it is very addictive...
And once you get one...
You would want another one.

I don't really understand...
And I really doubt I want to find out.

Yeah that's the problem, I think you're better of finding a friend who does't like the game and is looking to sell it for cheap. Never been a fan of PC games though.

I personally would like to get a tattoo and only one, but the fact they stay for life is likely gonna make me shy away from actually getting one.

Huge thing I want for NHL14 is in BAGM mode, for you to have set lines as an option, cause when injuries happen you obviously replace the player, but then you have to go make your lines or use the terrible "Best lines" feature. Also there are far too many injuries, teams to do not face 6-7 month+ injuries every year.

NHL94 sounds fun too.

Or craigslist...
But those can be iffy.

I also doubt that people will be tired of FIFA.

There doesn't appear to be any big changes, just mostly fine tuning plus adding a few features.

- They made dekes easier to pull off.
- You can finally take slapshots that stay on the ice/don't rise up.
- When skating backwards, you can strafe sideways a bit to help maneuver yourself and get into a better position to defend.
- Once again they claim to have improved the hitting engine and collision engine (it was a complete flop in NHL 13) to make it realistic.
- They added an "enforcer engine"
- and a few more things I don't feel like listing...

You can find videos and blogs about the improvements here: http://forum.ea.com/eaforum/posts/list/9649188.page

No one expected them to make any huge changes this year since they're releasing NHL 15 on the next gen consoles and will likely be spending more time focusing on that. Don't expect many tuners/patches and roster updates after Christmas (like what happened this year).

I'm still going to get it since I need a hockey game to play and there is no competition for EA.

I just want the correct roster...
Which I had been asking for...
Since 09.

Pretty much this. Though you can always laser it off, it's not worth it. One day my skin will be wrinkly and the tat won't mean as much.

The worst tattoos are probably ones that were inked for the significant other.
It is very awkward when there is a break-up...
And the person had to explain it to the new person.

Not all hits are going to be like what they showed in their trailer video (they just showed how some big hits will look), and I'm sure they're going to release a few tuners to adjust it in the months after the game comes out.
