My vote goes to Niittymaki

OK, heads Carter, tails Nitty........

And Nitty Wins my vote as MVP!

Wow, what a great year. Perfect year to have a lockout, eh?

Thanks and congrats to the Phantoms for a great run!

Read that interview with Primeau, he makes it sound like it's not.

Congratulations to Mike Richards who has now had success at every level he's played in. Hope the trend continues.

Gotta love it. And the fact that these kids have won at every level they have played at and they've won at a pro level only helps carry that experience even further. I know that there will be some pessimists here and say that it's only AHL hockey, however, it's still pro hockey and that experience can't ever be replaced. This has been invaluable to guys like Richards, Carter, Umberger, Pitkanen, Seidenberg, Niittymaki, Sharp, Eager, etc......I'm really looking forward to when they get to the show.

Get that damn deal signed NHL and NHLPA and let these kids play.

Agreed FF10 - hopefully this core group of kids stay together for a long time. The experience they've all gained this playoff run and winning the championship will be invaluable.

I'm just kind of greedy though because I want to see the new devil on skates do his thing in Philadelphia. And yes, I'm referring to Mike Richards (I'm a Mike Richards mark)

If the NHL season was at least going to be canceled, this was the next best thing.

Largest crowd in AHL playoff history, it was totally awsome! Something every fan should experience is their favorite team hoisting a Cup, whether it be the the Calder or Stanley Cup, there was definetaly and NHL feel in the building

haha

The Philadelphia Flyers franchise benefitted more than any team in the league with the lockout. Not only do we lose a year of LeClair's, Amonte's, JR's, and Burke's (last year) contracts all our young players got amazing winning experience.

A few of the Trenton Titan's playes will be playing for the Phantoms next year as long as their is an NHL. The future Flyers have gained invaluable winning experience because of the Calder Cup and Kelly Cup.

The only way to top this off is winning the draft lottery and drafting Crosby only to trade him for a Lindros-esque package

Can anyone say....? Dynasty?
