Does Zhamnov Have Anything Left

Does Zhamnov have anything left? He appeared to put up pretty good numbers at the end of that last season, and he contributed in the playoffs.

I say yes. Zhamnov is great offensively, and underrated defensively. He is just getting older and he turned down a fair offer from the Flyers.

He's got it left, it's just a matter of whether or not he'll bring it to the rink. During the playoffs, of course he will, but usually in the regular season he seems to play a rather "dull" game.

He had plenty left. We missed a year, and with older players who knows?

I believe he does have something left but lets not forget how he vanished in the later playoff rounds. Also with another year passing, who knows. I rather go with Carter anyways. He can only go up in level of play.

Zhamnov on a reasonable short term contract would be well worth it. The thing is the Flyers defense leaves a lot to be desired, and I hope that's addressed first, after they bring back their RFA and sign Carter and Richards.

Zhamnov will make a great free agent signing for a team that needs an inexpensive first line center.

Yes he does, but he doesn't have anything in Philly at the cost of the younger guys.

Like the Blue Jackets. Zhamnov centering Nash and Zherdev would be nice.

Great fit there, I think. Or Atlanta. A team with some young offensive superstars. Zhamnov has the playmaking ability and defensive awareness to let them really develop. He was beastly for us at the end of the season and early in the playoffs, but we can't keep everybody. It's amazing to think how good that Flyers team was going into the playoffs, before the injuries started to hit. We could have had 5 lines of legit NHL forwards, 8 defensemen, and 2-3 goalies.
