I've been waiting for this day for a long time, here's hoping it will be announced very soon!

34%??? wow, 10% less than expected

still, I'll wait until it's official before I start screaming my joy. So much skepticism in these annoucements, I have...

I think that might be a typo... 24% is the only number that's been offered by the NHLPA as far as I know.

I'm pretty happy about this part:

The $36 million cap, however, is not solely meant for players' salaries. Also included would be benefits as well as signing and performance bonuses, according to the Globe and Mail.
The last thing the new CBA need is a huge loop hole that any idiotic GM would gladly use. I just hope they used their time efficiently so we get something solid for once.

Here's to a pants free season!

Now it's back to a team-by-team cap and floor?

Doesn't sound right. I thought the league had rejected that idea?

I think the cap is too tight myself. I'd like to see $42 mil.

I think the article is just poorly written.

One thing, the owners better damned well drop ticket prices.

I am pretty sure they made a mistake with the 34% rollback,Im pretty sure It's 24% like they proposed back In February
