I think the NHL always wants it to be in "classic" stadiums that people know. It would have been much better suited in the Home Depot Center or Rose Bowl setting. Guess I'll see what's left after the Queens/Ducks season tickets holders buy tickets. I'm just worried the ticket brokers for both teams are going to snatch them up and jack up prices even more.

According to the map they are either $89 or $139. How did they charge you $802? That price must include 4 "free" beers.

Meant the blue section in the top deck. If i had bought those seats down below for that price then i must have been drunk out of my mind when I bought the seats.

Is that the end the ducks shoot at twice? Or did you pick that side for other reasons?

That's where the Ducks shoot twice. I was told from other season seat holders Ducks bench is 1st base side.

I'm a little confused. Ducks shoot twice on the 1st base side or the 3rd? Because section 45 is on the 3rd base side.

I think I'm gonna get the first base side of the upper deck, I just did the seat viewer on the dodger's site and the cheap 89 ones I dont think I'll be able to see the play from that angle because of the boards. But the high up seats don't look too far away and I'll be able to watch everything and have an amazing view

I just got mine in section 10, me and my friends decided that we are more likely to remember who we are there with then where we are sitting. That said I think the seats will be fine.

I had a few maybe's on mine so i ended up buying all 4 even though only 2 are likely to be used. If that ends up being the case i wouldn't mind selling them at cost to ducks fans.

You don't have anything to worry about. For one, there aren't any tickets available on Stubhub. Secondly, there is no possible way they have already sold 40,000+ tickets. You'll be able to get seats at face value whenever they decide to sell the to the general public.

Yah they eventually will be kducks. Gotta get these tickets early. If not a bunch of the good seats will be on these stubhub sites. They aren't on it yet my damn phone brought up a misprint of ads. Sorry for the scare. But the point still being, gotta get em early!

Right now its just season ticket holders and there are time slots. Next week Half season and mini plan holders should get to purchase. So figure 2 weeks min for a public sale likely a little more. Also they may do an open presale before a public sale as well.

The Rose Bowl woulda been sweet... I wonder if they could sell 100,000 tickets though.

Seats 301-316 are useless.

I advice taking a seat as up as possible.

I wonder how the O6 fans will spin this

Quote:
On the response from season ticket holders:
We’ve started re-sales in conjunction with the Ducks’ season ticket holders [last week], and the league has so far shared with us that we’re selling at a record clip, faster than any of the previous Winter Classics or games, in conjunction with the presales for the season ticket members. So that is a very promising sign. They’re anticipating a completely different buzz around this game, compared to any of the other games, and that translates not just into the ticket sales, but also into our broadcast partners as well. ‘It just has a different feel’ is what they keep telling us. That’s very intriguing to me. That’s why Luc, Dan, myself, we all went after this game because we wanted to do something different. We wanted to do something that was going to make an impact on Southern California and west coast hockey to grow the game.

Let me rephrase, the "no hockey in the south" snobs, not actual fans of the game.
