I was finally ably to find tickets in section 128 for $189 each but of all of the options left these were pretty much the only ones that seemed to be worth the price for the experience. And this was after searching for tickets from the $79 to $189 range.

Everything else was basically just bleacher seats, didn't realize it until now but I couldn't imagine paying upwards of $100 for those seats and almost walked away from getting tickets to this thing

Good luck to anyone else still waiting for their window.

I agree that the sightlines from some of these seats (like the bleachers, particularly in left field, where you are even further away) will be atrocious. I think in those seats you are there for the "experience" and pretty much watching on the video board. Problem is, from some of those seats, you can't see the video board without turning around in your seat.

I assume there are, and have been, similar issues at all of the stadiums (particularly baseball) ... but I think some folks are going to be disappointed.

It's funny you say this, because yesterday someone was trying to sell 2 tickets in those "bleacher" sections for $700/pair. They eventually dropped the price to $525 or $550, but noone is going to pay that much to sit out there and if they do, they're out of their minds.

If someone pays anywhere near that (for those seats), they are going to be EXTREMELY disappointed. I can see going for the least expensive seats if: a) you have a good view of the video board; and/or b) you don't mind wandering around the stadium a bit looking for a better view.

I have sat in the bleachers for a baseball game ... not bad for baseball, but for this game you are going to be not very high up and VERY far from the ice ... a bad combination

I agree with everything you said.

Bleachers for baseball aren't bad because you can still see what's going on with the play, but for hockey, I wouldn't pay $189 to sit out there and can't believe the NHL is selling those seats for that price. Those aren't worth more than the $79/$119 price.

STHs who bought those tix hoping to flip them for a nice profit may be in for a rude awakening ... then again, there may be a lot of people who aren't familiar with the stadium that have no idea what they are buying

I will take one more shot so that you guys don't have to keep dealing with the same post from me. If someone has purchased less than their maximum, I have 4 tickets (me and my 3 siblings) and am looking for 3 more (my parents and my wife). I can assure you that I am not looking to take advantage of your good will and flip them for a profit. I would gladly pay for them in whatever manner you'd prefer. I'd really appreciate the help. Thanks.

$100 Season Tickets - but there's a catch!

http://devils.nhl.com/club/page.htm?id=91596

Quote:
Become a member of the Diablos 122 Supporter Section! Stand, cheer, and make sure The Rock is loud for every Devils home game. Only 70 spots are available. Do you have what it takes? Read the info below and fill out the form to the right.

• Season Tickets are comped, there is a $100 Diablos membership fee

• Those who already paid for Diablos Season Tickets will be refunded all but $100 of their money

• Requirements for being part of the Diablos section:
•NO RESALE – tickets cannot be posted for resale on StubHub, Ticket Exchange, or any other broker site
•You must attend EVERY home game (or have someone attend home games you cannot) – you may pair up if you cannot attend every game on your own
•You must stand every game, the entire game, while the puck is in play
•You must wear Devils gear every game
•You must abide by Diablos by-laws every game
•Your section will be a “GA” section, without assigned seats (back four rows of section 122)
•You will have to pay for playoff tickets if interested (same price as regular aqua seats around the arena – price TBD)

THIS IS A SPECIAL SECTION BEING PROVIDED ONLY TO THOSE HARDCORE DEVILS FANS DEDICATED TO ENHANCING THE IN-ARENA EXPERIENCE EVERY NIGHT. Failure to follow any of the above will result in YOUR tickets bar codes being turned off.

At least there attempting to revamp that section. It seemed to die down last season

That is an awesome deal for the hardcore fan who likes to get into games.

Last season that section was spotty a lot of the games.

I hope 70 of our fans take advanatage of this offer and also abide by the regulations.

It comes to $2.27 per game (including preseason).

Will they get access to the Stadium Series game too?

$100? That sounds awesome. Wish I was still in college. Wish I could attend every game. I'd just sell off my seasons and do this.

Great job Devils.

This has Scott O'Neill's prints all over it.
Great job by the Devils in making a few seats very affordable for the younger hardcore fan.

Close to getting those Diablo seats. Can't make every game though. One of the rules is to "attend every home game"...will they enforce that?

Wow! To bad I can't make every home game, $100 for the whole season, that's insane. I would gladly fund the $100 if a bunch of people want to split up a ticket with me

They say 'someone' has to attend every game so presumably as long as the barcode gets scanned and there's not an empty seat for the entire game you're fine.

This is what I was thinking but I'm currently broke as **** at the moment. I could certainly make 14-20 games maybe more. Definitely not the whole season.

Also does every single person splitting the ticket need to pay the $100 diablos membership fee?

I think it's $100 per season seat.
So if you split it with someone, you pay $50.

They want all 70 seats filled with a Devils fan in Devils gear for every game.

If someone can't make a game, they can simply give it to another Devils fan who will stand and cheer.
It comes to about $2 per game so giving a few games away for free will not matter much to the ticket holder financially.

Key is to make friends in that section early on, so you can exchange tix for games which will allow you to bring friends to some.

Yeah that sounds great,, I wouldn't be able to make almost all of the weeknight games but I'd def be down to pay for the $100 seat and split it up with a few people

Wow that's a damn good deal, even if you have to stand for the entire game(basically SRO tickets for $100 not in the nosebleeds).
