Nylander is high.. I see him in more of the 9-16 range

13: Anton Karlsson

Would much rather have Ivan Barbashev or Jake Virtanen. Wings desperately need centers.

Virtanen is a winger as well. Barbashev is a center, but he might be better suited for the wing in the NHL.

DeAngelo to the Habs would be interesting and makes sense since we recently brought in a tidal wave of forward prospects.

I would be so happy if he got picked by the Blues.

Elite prospects lists him as both right wing and center.

Yeah, he plays center in the QMJHL, but I think he will be more successful on the wing in the NHL.

17: New York Rangers - Kasperi Kapanen
I don't think the Rangers would select him before Tuch, Honka, or DeAngelo. I could be wrong but for organizational needs & who they've selected in their previous drafts, I don't see Kapanen a Ranger.

Where's Sonny Milano ??

He doesn't seem popular here on HF mock drafts thread but he's a heck of a player...

As a Habs fan, I would take him wayyyyyy before DeAngelo, a weak and offensive (with no defensive game) minded defenseman

That said, as the habs system lack big strong fowards, I would take Tuch, Bleackley or Larkin before DeAngelo that, I think, will be more of a 2nd rounder since he's on the small side and a late birth...

Habs probably have one of the deepest prospect pool on the blue line. Makes no sense to pick a D in the first round since the main issue with the Habs are size up front and scoring.

Timmins like drafting from the USHL, Im guessing Tuch is probably want he would be aiming for. big winger. Would go nice with McCarron. wouldnt have a problem with Vrana and Bleackeley either at this spot.

Agreed. It'd take him if he's available when the Hawks pick. I'd take Schmaltz too though.. but no love for Sonny Milano.
