I watched Foster, Drummond and Ulanski develop for the last four years in Denver, and all of them certainly can be impact players at the ECHL level,

Foster is the best pure scorer of the group, with excellent hands, good instincts and and an imprpving defefenive capabilty. He's a guy that needs to get faster if he expects to make the AHL, but should have no problems scoring goals in the ECHL level. He's very solidly built and durable.

Drummond and small, shifty and elusive down low and in traffic, with good quickness, strong puck skills, decent defenisively and has a tendency to score points in bunches. He's smart and crafty, and can also be a solid ECHL player. His downside is size and his streakyness, which could improve with more development.

Ulanski is a very hard-working kid that has overcome injuries and early fatherhood to become a very mature and effective leader and a very good skill set. He's fireplug player who loves to bang people, even though he's not that big. Tough to knock of the puck. Tremendous heart and desire. His downside is his footspeed, and his injury history.

All three guys played at a Denver program that knows how to win chmpionships, and they will add that winning experience to Long Beach.

He's not Sidney Crosby!! Sestito scored 14 goals as a 20 year old in the OHL. If that's the best the Oilers can send, do we really need and alliance with them.

but he never signed with the Oilers (never heard about that), so he's probably just sent as a try-out player

Either way, I'm hoping the Oilers only send 1-2 really good prospects to give more ice time to our guys down there. Like say 2 so that the Bulldogs have a good team, but at the same time, so that Kostits, Locke, Milroy, Lapierre, Lambert, and Urquhart and company can work on their development.

So how Hamilton d-core will look like?

I know that we've Paul, Benoit, Aitken, Cote, Sanford, Archer for Hamilton...anyone else?

With Paul and Aitken, Archer our d-core won't be on the small side imo.

I'd expect Roy from the Oilers, perhaps one other defensemen.

I was thinking the same thing. It looks like our D in Hamilton will actually look pretty good. Good mix of toughness, stay-at-home guys and offence. I'm thinking it could be a strong point. montreal mentioned Roy from the Oilers, is there anybody else who may come over?

(I'm just listing the guys here, not pairings or anything)

Côté-Archer
Benoit-Sanford
Aitken-Paul
Lavallée-?

Looks pretty good to me, even without anybody coming from Edmonton.
