I feel Cliche is about to go on a goal scoring rampage.

I'm going with Mack. He's right on the edge of busting out a hatty, I don't think he's really even hit a hot streak yet. Second choice is Duchene, he will get hot and score in bunches again. O'Reilly has done a great job staying consistent though I don't think he'll keep up his current pace.

Until I saw the numbers all next to each other I didn't realize that MacKinnon is 2nd on the team in goal scoring.

I'd still say O'Reilly will be the first to 30, and then we need to lock him up long term in the off season.

O'Reilly, but I think MacKinnon will finish with the higher total.

MacK... he is very close to going on a huge run. He might hit 32-33 this year. I don't think any other player hits 30. ROR and Duchene will get close 26-28, but not quite there as our schedule toughens.

I say Mack will hit it 1st, but O'Reilly will match him 10 minutes later.

I think Duchene is going to go on a tear after the Olympics

Voted other as I don't think we will have a 30-goal scorer this season. Feel like ROR will lead with 28, Dutchy at 26 and Mac at 25 as he will slow down a bit.

29 games left. It's very possible we get a 30 goal scorer

Wouldn't it be something if Casper managed to pot 30 this season.

I'm gonna go ahead and say ROR. He's been consistent all season, and if Duchene continues to Center him he's going to continue to get really good scoring chances every game.

Ill say ROR finished with 32 Goals. Not sure what Mack will finish with. If he keeps up his play as of late, I could see him getting to 30-33 as well. If he hits a cold streak he could be in the 25-28 range. If he gets hot, I could see 35+.

I definitely think Mack will score a Hatty this year. He's been close in a couple games now, he's gonna have things go his way in a game before the seasons over.

I don't think Duchene will hit even 25 though. He'll continue to rack up the assists and what not, but I think he'll struggle to score the rest of the year.

The last 1/3 of the season is more difficult than the first 2/3s. Teams tighten up and start gearing up for playoff hockey... scoring in the league typically goes down. So while it is easily possible, I see what Nzap is saying.

When Duchene starts scoring they are going to come in bunches. I choose him.

I think Duchene will be our leading goal scorer going into the Olympic break, looked so dangerous against Minny, and has the weak east to go up against.

Who's the rest of the team playing against?

Obviously I know it's a team game, I just see Duchene as having the bigger advantage being the best player. The only elite shutdown defenseman to face is Ryan McDonagh.

They way MacKinnon has been pouring in the goals the past 2 months, you have to put your money on him. He's been consistently scoring goals at a fairly high rate despite his slow goal scoring start at the beginning of the season. I also agree that Duchene could score in bunches once he gets on a streak. Vote is for MacKinnon, then Duchene.

Duchene has got to burst through at some point here. He's been shooting like a mad man for a while now.

25 is way too conservative for MacKinnon and Duchene. Only 6-8 more goals the entire season? That would be more than just hitting a rough/cold patch. Duchene is due, he shoots the most on the team and has had nothing go in lately. I could see MacKinnon get 6 in a week sometime here though I expect him to run a bit hot and cold.

Well to be honest, in my estimation of Duchene and Mac I expect some injuries.

O'Reilly I'm guessing. He's on the right pace.

Gut feeling it will be Duchene...I think he'll take it to another level when he comes back from the Olympics

Fair enough. I always assume injuries but more in the collective sense, I can't try to guess who might get injured. But that definitely would have an impact on the numbers.

O'Reilly has been consistently scoring goals all year, but Nate has really picked up the pace in the last month or so. It will be a race to the finish line if Nate can keep from hitting a slump and both stay healthy.

I predicted O'Reilly would lead the team in goals at the beginning of the year, so I'll stick with that. Nate will probably lead the team in goals for the next decade though.
