Why didn't Stamps just keep running?

CHAAAAAAAAAAAAAMBERS!!!!

wow! how did he drop that?!

Terrible, Mike Reilly has been slinging it like a true star and to see the game winning td dropped like that? Now all they need to do is punt it out of the back of the end zone.

How the hell do you drop that? Why do our receivers drop easy TD passes?

The commentary in this thread about this game is hilarious.

It goes from "We suck" to "What a win."

I didn't watch the game (and I'm not suggesting anything), I just find it comical!

The real comedy here is that the Eskimos are only 2 points behind Montreal for the crossover, and play Montreal at Commonwealth.

They could make the playoffs.

I hope Kavis starts ripping on the naysayers in the press.

Well, they have to finish two points ahead of the Als but they have Ham 3 more times and Sask next week. The Esks have the Argos... conceivable the Als lose their next two, the Esks beat Toronto and that game at Commonwealth will actually have playoff implications... oh CFL, you're so silly.

Cary Koch hasn't been dropping too many this year, but I think you were the one that said he would be no big loss. And instead, you get Nate Coehorn in his place.

Nice call.

If they beat Montreal and finish tied, why do they have to finish 2 points ahead?

His team is 3-9. I think he's smart enough to keep his yap shut.

Chambers dropped the pass if you were watching the game.

Speaking of Chambers and Coehorn, I'm starting to lean to Replacements line of thinking a bit. Chambers still has some issues with dropped balls, but you can at least see the raw talent. I think Coehorn is bit of a wimp, the way he avoids getting hit at all costs, and when he does get hit, he always comes up like he's just been shot.

I've said very little about Koch aside from that botched punt return.

Most of the receivers on this team are a disaster outside of Stamps and Bowman, and even Stamps screwed up today.

Tie goes to the east team if we want to cross over to the east.

Overtime required to determine the worst team in the league. It's like we just won a contest or something. Good game, down to the wire, but it didn't have to be. I watched the whole thing. The next two Esks games against Eastern teams will have a big influence on their finish to the year as we can only be gunning for the cross over.

Chambers has some nfl traits, 4.4 40, 6'2

Problem is he can't catch and has no polish whatsoever,

Exactly. Which is why your earlier comment about the team not missing him after he got injured sticks out. I think he's had a very good year up to that point, even running a punt back for a TD in addition to his other 4 receiving TD's. And when you see youngters like Chambers and Coehorn screw up, it makes his value rise even more.
