No doubt, he needs some serious polishing, but at least there's something to polish. At the risk of sounding like Replacement and getting flamed, what does Coehorn have to polish? (Insert bad joke here)

And when you see youngters like Chambers and Coehorn screw up, it makes his value rise even more.
And yet they won without him. Hm.

Oh yes, he's been the problem they weren't winning before.

That's exactly what I said.

Perhaps he's just not that good? Like most of the team?

Or perhaps there's quite a few other issues that have been costing us wins.

And they just played the worst team in the league back to back.

No, really? Like our porous defense? Our questionable coaching decisions? Our swiss cheese o-line? Our reliance on Joseph for short yardage? The inability to play games before the fourth quarter? The dumb mistakes this team makes time and time again?

Saying Koch isn't very good doesn't mean he's the biggest or even a big problem with this team.

I'm just saying he's not very good.

Your opinion. You have the right to be wrong.

I'm saying when you have Chambers dropping catchable balls and Coehorn doing nothing, then a much more reliable Koch is missed.

I don't see him as that much more reliable. He's had his fair share of brain farts and drops too.

The reality is that Coehoorn is a #5 receiver. He is not even close to being on the radar regarding why this team struggles on offence.

Its odd to me that gets as much attention as he does.

Koch is a #4 receiver...same deal there.

Its like suggesting that a 4th line player on the Oilers is part of the problem.

Its virtually irrelevant.

Well that was surprising. I fell asleep and missed the end of the game. wtf. Maybe I should start doing that with the Oilers.

Oh great, a win for Kavis to hide behind.

If they actually sneak into the playoffs via crossover... wow.

I don't think I've despised a coaching staff more than this one.

Just my 2 cents before heading off to work.I have coached a fair amount in the past & the most important thing that I came away with was to trust my instincts more than my brain.I see Kavis as doing the opposite. The blunders that he makes,to me,are created by his over thinking which in turn keeps him out of the moment. The game in which he ran out onto the field, waving his arms to get the field goal kicking unit off is a prime example of my theory. He was so busy in his mind that he was oblivious to the fact that he couldn't get the ball back with very little time left if they had tried the field goal.Chow for now.

it's the amount of times the eskimos do not show the previous play.
the fact that they show commercials when they can be showing replays. there are a LOT of times when we'd expect to see that play that just happened, and we don't get to see it. this is especialy frustrating when there was a penalty, for example.

being at the game there are times one misses a play. it would enhance the experience of being at the game if they could more often show a replay instead of a Cary Koch tim hortons commercial. a new screen isn't worth the money if they fail to use it in a meaningful way.

both teams play was pathetic for the most part.
It was just a bad, bad game.

what stood out as especially awful was the kicking of Shaw and the undisciplined team that took 14 penalties? brutual. wasn't Reed supposed to have fixed this lack of disipline with concequences?

thanks goodness I watched it later in the evening as I had recorded the game. At least I didn't have to sit in front of the TV for 3.5 hours.

A couple more wins and we can look forward to seeing Kavis on the sidelines again next year.

Reilly could make a case for offensive player of the week again. His 400 yards was pretty good, but only one TD. Even Stamps 157 yards could make a case. The offense was on, but had no polish or discipline. Good enough to win, I suppose but they gotta get better.

may not have turned out so well against a good defense.

all I know is how much of a difference having a second STAR receiver is making.
Bowman is incredible and Stamps should be grateful for every second bowman is on the field.
making the job of the defense much more difficult when they have to worry about a threat other than stamps.

Ya well, I could say the same for the hockey team save for Eakins.

I guess the only choices we have are to plug our noses and bear it, or find other things to do with our time/money.

Ive pretty much turned the page on the Eskimos. I wont go to another game while these clowns are still in charge. I want to support the team, but not in this current configuration. Been hoping for positive change since Maciocia was hired. Seems to me the problem is even higher than that.

he wasn't a good coach, but his instincts were better than what Reed has.
Reed always lets his emotions get in the way of his thinking and common sense.

you know it's bad when we actually miss DM, and DM helped drive the team to where it is today.
one of the issues people had with DM is he "never played the game"
Well, Reed played the game quite well, and he's no better of a coach. in fact could likely be worse.

I agree. Bowman coming back has been huge for our offense. Having him and Stamps going, with Henry playing well is a deadly combination. The rest of the players are complementary in my opinion. Henry is an underrated horse. He can learn a lot from Bowman.

I haven't paid as close attention to him as I could have this season, but I think Henry did play really well yesterday.
how old is he?
