Kaberle, Lidstrom or Zubov. Either one of them

Nobody has mentioned Berard yet: He is who I immediately thought of.

He is not in the same class as the ones mentioned but he would be a good choice nevertheless.

Oh, how true that is. Shoot has to be Option #17 in Zubov's mind.

Anyway, I'd take Leetch just above Gonchar.

I'm a Caps' fan, and I'd take Leetch. Gonchar is one of the best goal-scorers from the blue line, but he tends to score on his big slapshot. One-on-one, I'd think dekes would matter, and Gonchar doesn't have those moves.

I'd take him or MacInnis if it was a shot from the blue-line, though, no question.

Vishnevski.. he absolutely faked Salo out of his shorts on a short handed breakaway goal last season. One of his 2 on the year.

Al MacInnis.

Get him to skate in to about 15 feet out and just wire it.

Phil Housley-He can scate and deke like a forward, he would be my pick, even at his age.

Awards:
Brian Leetch. He beats five guys and a goalie, pretty sure he can beat no guys and a goalie.

I've been watching Zubov for years and years and he's one of the most spectacular players I've ever watched, but I can honestly say he wouldn't be even in my top 10 in a shootout.

He has a great shot, but he would try to stickhandle his way into the opposing net and probably end up shooting it point blank into the guy's chest.

Training Zubov to take penalty shots would be like training cows not to eat grass.

That made me laugh Frug.. Zubov would probably aim it off his skates, trying to hit the post via the bar and offer his apologies afterwards..

I'd take Mike Rathje. By the time he got his slow butt down the rink the goalie would have gotten bored and left. Then he'd have an easy empty-netter.

Someone not even mentioned....Chris Chelios! That's right. I've seen him score a sick breakaway goal once, (well in 1995) but it was great. Fakes a slap then fakes glove side and goes to the back hand, ohhh ya!

But maybe Leetch!

Leetch. He has the skill to take a penalty well, he has experience, he is pretty clutch and he seems to be balanced as a person.
