Build the 2013-14 starting line-up (First 3 call-ups : defensemen) - FINAL POLL

Let's build together the Habs 2013-14 starting line-up. This would be an "injury free" line-up, so let's do as if Gionta and Emelin were ready to start on day one.

Try to build lines that work, instead of just voting for the best player for each position.

Between (brackets) is the normal position for this player. You can always vote to put a player in another position.

Time to pick the 3 first call-ups (defensemen).

FORWARDS

Pacioretty - Plekanec - Brière
Galchenyuk - Eller - Gallagher
Bourque - Desharnais - Gionta
Prust - White - Moen
Extra : Parros

DEFENSEMEN

Gorges - Subban
Markov - Emelin
Murray - Diaz
Extras : Bouillon, Drewiske

GOALIES

Price
Budaj

--------------------------------
1st call-up (offense) : Dumont
2nd call-up (offense) : Leblanc
3rd call-up (offense) : Thomas
4th call-up (offense) : Blunden
----------------------------------
1st call-up (defense) : ????
2nd call-up (defense) : ????
3rd call-up (defense) : ????

----------------------------------
1st call-up (goalie) : Tokarski

Bolded needs correction. And no poll. Corrected, forget this.

Back on topic...Easy answer would be Beaulieu, Tinordi, and Pateryn.

But I think there will be a surprise.

...

Beaulieu, Tinordi and Dietz.

Done!

And I also think Dietz or Ellis could get called-up before Pateryn, depending on performances...

I went with the Darkhorse Nygren as my #3. If Diaz gets hurt or falls flat, we might be looking to callup a big right handed shot for the 2nd PP.

Last chance to register your vote guys! And if someone wants to continue with a Hamilton Bulldogs version, I'll leave it to you.

Logged in just to post this; as much as I really like Pateryn and hope he can continue his progression into a steady #5/6 defensive guy, I luv what Nygren could bring if given the chance (Diaz goes down, gets moved,etc)...kid could really make some waves if given the opportunity.

Tinordi and Beaulieu for sure, then the 3rd call-up could be any of Pateryn, Ellis, Nygren, or Dietz. I voted Nygren as the 3rd man called up.
