Selanne's comments on PP

Off NHL.com

I wouldn't call that a power play. It's embarrassing. It's a joke right now. I can only laugh at that right now, seriously, and I'm a big part of it. That's the one thing we've got to fix ... [there's] no confidence, no shots. We just tried to make some fancy plays. It's not pretty to watch. Not for the kids.

Up until the Flames game it seemed to be doing rather well minus the goal column. They were moving the puck often and with precision and getting their shots. it's like a 5-headed Perry. Just need to get one at this point.

From the games I've seen, I've been shocked how little they try to set up onetimers. They try to set up along the boards too much, making it easy for the penalty killers to crows and force a turnover or a bad pass. Players need to move more and the puck needs to move as well.

Teeeeemuuu (nice pass by Getzy) fixed the issue him self along with Perry (Fowler).

imho we always had a good PP going just the finish/shot wasnt good enough. But with that quality in our team, it was just a matter of time to kick ass @ PP.

Hope they keep lightning the lamp up on the powerplay against Toronto.

We need to stop getting fancy on the PP
we have wasted so many chances.

Glad we are still winning games without the PP. Cant wait to see the PP fire up.
